At the foot of the Swiss Alps lies Valais, "the valley." This fabled region is a year-round favorite, with spectacular skiing in the winter and superb hiking in summer. The Matterhorn, the Great St. Bernard Pass and Zermatt are the stars of the area, but glaciers, lakes, mountain paths, castle-churches and a wealth of resorts also beckon. Visit L'Hospice du Grand St. Bernard to see the animals who helped the monks rescue travelers or the Fondation Pierre Gianadda, Roman ruins that now house modern art.

This unique park displays its attractions in an area of over 17’000 m2 at Le Bouveret, in a pleasant location adjacent to the shores of Lake Geneva, Switzerland. One miniature train enthusiast, having come from afar to admire this touristic marvel of lower Valais, confided that all the troubles of everyday life seem to disappear within the gates of the park. Only a child’s earliest experiences of joy can come close to expressing the first sensations of a trip on a miniature train. The little trains chug along as if by magic through a sumptuous decor displaying miniature replicas from the rich heritage of Switzerland: the Castle of Aigle, the Church of Saanen, the Halls of Neuchâtel, the Swiss Residence, railway buildings and constructions of every sort (bridges, viaducts, tunnels, etc.), conjuring up a journey into a land of dreams !
For train lovers and aficionados, the Swiss Vapeur Parc is a must. Our children rode the whoooole day on lots of different Swiss trains and particularly loved the Krokodil pulling the RhB and the cute little cogwheel train. There were plenty of adults enjoying the rides too. The restaurant food was not great so I’d suggest maybe trying the crepes further inside the parc or bring a picnic instead.

A dream location for a great day of entertainment. Hundreds of games to discover with family, group, outside of class, as a couple or alone. Games for all and thematic activities.
This is a great attraction, my kids would have been happy spending all day here. After walking around the labyrinth (which was big enough to fail at the task of finding all 10 stamps for our leaflets) the kids went on the slide which they had great fun on, going up the steps to the top then sliding down on a mat. Everywhere they looked there was a different and interesting thin to play with. The nicest thing is that all the "rides" are old school playground types, no electricity yet so much fun. The kids also loved the inflatable tube ride as well as the big climbing frame for younger kids. Bring your own picnic to eat on the grass or picnic tables as you can easily spend half a day here.

Splash Your Mountain is the biggest inflatable waterslide of Europe. Every summer we will change the slopes of Morgins in Valais, Switzerland into a big water funpark! There are plenty of bars and activities suitable for children. This year we have also added ziplines to the activity! De activity takes place from July till end of August. Recommended to book tickets early.

28 degrees, just 1h15 away from Geneva!Aquaparc is one Europe's largest water parks, with amazing attractions for kids & adults. It's covered & heated (28 degrees water), so it's always summer over there...3 zones for the whole family: Water slides : 8 slides covering over 1 km, from kids slides to crazy kamikaze ones .Captain Kids : a children's paradise with a wave pool, a river that carries kids in its current, pirate ship, & more.
We went to Aquaparc during the Covid-19 restrictions. While it is clearly an expensive day out, overall it was great fun, well organised, very friendly staff, good mix of slides, outside water play areas and access to a very nice plage. Lots of comments about being very busy, perhaps the Covid restrictions that limit the number of people are a good thing, as during our visit while there were sometimes short queues for some of the slides, generally it was possible to access the slides very easily. We went with our two kids age 9 and 7 and they had a fantastic time, more than enough to keep them occupied, even if they did not want to go on the "advanced" slides. Entry procedure was easy, two adults meant two lockers, so plenty of storage space. The fact that you can bring a picnic to eat outside definitely helps to manage the overall cost of the day out. Food and drink prices inside were generally quite good by Swiss standards (9CHF for a hotdog and drink). If the entrance price was a little lower I think we would go a lot more often, but as it is, it is more likely a once a year treat type activity. Overall, we had a great day and the kids loved it, when taking a picnic the overall value make sense.
