A great place to walk around a few times on the boardwalk. Worth the admission if you are in the area. Say HI to Candi the bear when u go.

Pioneer Park is part of the Hardee County Heritage Park. This is a wonderful find in that there is much more to do when you get here. Photos here are specific to this one attraction. There is the adjacent Cracker Museum, a shady trail around a creek, has bridges, that wonders partway thru a campground. At the other end is the Wildlife Refuge. That was closed on the day visited however I would come back again just to do that.

We visit small local museums in small towns all over the country. This one is wonderful and $2.14 to get in. I had to ask because it was on the sign outside. It's the tax.
