Yantis is a town in Wood County, Texas, United States. The population was 388 at the 2010 census. The town is surrounded on three sides by Lake Fork Reservoir. It is located at the intersection of State Highway 154 and Farm to Market Road 17 approximately 12 miles north of the county seat of Quitman in northwestern Wood County.

Lake Fork Stables, a 501c3 nonprofit, offers a hands on horsemanship and introduction to horses experience. Guests will groom, tack and then ride our retired racehorses and lesson horses. The purpose is to teach safe horsemanship and introduce guests to the world of horseback riding. Guests are required to wear helmets and sign a liability waiver. Guests will ride in our 100x150 foot lighted, outdoor arena. Due to our location near the lake, we are not able to offer trail riding at this time, but this is an option we are working on for the future. Our horses are not like the typical deadhead horses you find at tourist trail rides. They are safe, well-trained horses with personalities! Bookings support our nonprofit programs for local low income, autistic and military kids.

The lodging accommodations were more than adequate. Our golf group does the stay play twice a year and each time the experience has been very good. The fairways and greens have always been in excellent condition. Wei, is truly a gentleman and very customer service oriented. Thank you!

Coffee Creek Landing Marina and RV Park has a concrete boat launch to access Northeast Lake Fork. We also carry fishing tackle, live bait, ice, cold drinks, and snacks in the Bait Store. The RV Park has 19 RV sites for overnight to annual leases. The Fisherman's Suite is a 1200 sqft unit that sleeps 4 which can be rented for tournaments, family stays, hunting trips, or just a weekend away.
