If you haven't been out on the NRVT yet you need to come see it soon. The grounds are wide and well kept. You can walk your dog, jog with a friend, ride your bicycle or just meander along and enjoy the birds, water and native flora. Local business people walk the trail during their lunch break or after work. Many organizations volunteer time to help keep the trial clean and in good shape. The Wilton Garden Club has been helping remove the invasive species and are replanting native pollinators to help with turning around the bee and monarch butterfly decline. Read about the Pollinator Pathway Projects in Wilton and neighboring towns. You can pop on and off the trail at different locations in and around town so it is convenient to grab a snack or lunch before, during or after a walk. There are Geo-Cache places in the area so kids may like to take on a hunt. This is a great addition to our town and an asset to Fairfield County.
