This is one of those places that can make you forget your 18 point golf handicap ;-). A beautiful course nestled next to Wolfe Lake in Westport Ontario, it is very well maintained and provides a mix of challenging holes with a few that allow you to win back the odd stroke or two. It has a really great clubhouse that offers a friendly atmosphere, wonderful views, great staff and a very tasty assortment of food choices. Golfers and visitors to Westport can enjoy a great golfing experience while taking in the local shopping, micro-brewery and vineyard.

I wanted a few more 'life is good' t-shirts (well-made, comfortable, great designs) and this store has one of the best selections in Canada. I ordered on-line and received my t-shirts within a few days. So I've refreshed my summer wardrobe with t-shirts that make me smile every time I wear them. And I did it from the comfort of my sofa.

A very short walk from the parking lot rewards you with a beautiful view of Westport and Upper Rideau Lake. As I grew up in the area it is a place I have returned to numerous times with friends and family.

As a sommelier & foodie we have become quite fond of Scheuermann winery & restaurant for several reasons. We are regulars & have tried everything on their menu & really enjoy all of it. It’s no wonder the place is so great, family owned business, mostly everything prepared on site using nothing but fresh quality ingredients. Grilled steaks are tender & juicy, best wood fired oven pizzas, fish& seafood always grilled to perfection (salmon, artic char, walleye, scallops, shrimps, lobster). We enjoy starting off with the fresh oysters or artichoke dip & chips (made in house ) & their signature goat cheese salad. Once you’ve tried these starters paired with their wines or their craft beers you will be hooked. If you’re interested in trying their wines, they have a tasting bar open during the day which is a nice way to familiarize yourself with their wines which are available for purchase throughout the year. Their wines are fresh, have good acidity, are well balanced & pair well with their menu offerings. The winery is located on a hill & offers spectacular views of the vineyard & the lakes, and to top it all off, the staff & owners are accommodating and truly amazing. The owners, chef François & Allison & their five fully devoted children have created a delightful “ al fresco “ dining atmosphere that has been unsurpassed. We Love everything about this place. Great food, great wines, great service, great atmosphere & surroundings! :)))

Artemisia Art Gallery has closed and is now Georgia D Art Biz, your local shop for professional art supplies. Demos and other art events are being planned with the grand opening November 26 and 27, 2016. Hours open will alter according to the season, but also open by chance or appointment.
