Castle Rock

Reviewed By tymlo - Perth, Australia

drobe into the Mational park and paid for the enterance fee. started the walk of 2kms (one way) to the summit. the climb was moderate although you have to be watchful you don't trip over rising tree roots and loose rocks. saw the balancing rock near the end of the climb. we reached the top and went to the lookout. this provided a good view of the Park. we then headed up to the Skywalk. we used the handlebars that were installed to the rocks and followed others . up one level and over a large rock, up a 7m ladder and onto the Skywalker. view was amazing! the climb down was much easier and seemed shorted. definitely worth the trip.

Granite Sky Walk

Reviewed By j0ymanl - Perth, Australia

Visited in October 2020 The granite skywalk located in the Torndirrup National Park had sufficient parking. Parking tickets required and toilet blocks are located next to the car park. The hike trials through dirt and natural ground with a gradual ascent. There were route markers at regular intervals informing of the distance remaining to the top. The trail can be muddy after a rain event so where appropriate footwear. At the top, there are two platforms. The lower deck can be accessed easily but the skywalk requires some climbing-over-big-boulders to get to the metal ladder that leads up to the skywalk. During our visit it was quite windy so beware of headwear as it can get blown off. Spectacular views of the surrounding area can be viewed at the top. We did the hike (with kids; 3yr old and 6yr old) in 3 hours, 1.5hr each way. It was an enjoyable hike even for the kids. Plenty of shade during the hike under the trees so it was pleasant. There were even some wildlife (roos and birds) spotted during the hike which added some excitement for the kids.

Devils Slide

Reviewed By Klo38 - Perth, Australia

We had difficulty finding the start, probably because we left the map behind. Best to drive to tree in the rock carpark, walk on the wansbrough walk trail for 1.6kms and then you'll come across the sign for the devil's slide. There is also a shorter trail up from waddys hut but it's very steep & slippery & won't save you any time. Is a difficult climb at times but we all managed, take it slow on the way down as one adult slipped on their bum on the way down. Beautiful Outlook full the top, the kids loved the challenge too.

Balancing Rock

Came across this Rock whilst on the way to the Granite Skywalk. Quite amazing to run into this after the 2.2 km dry challenging walk. Take plenty of water especially in summer.

Nancy's Peak

Walk starts at the tree in the rock carpark, we walked it clockwise, starting out by walking past the tree in the rock , I think that is definitely the easier ascent .. cool day 21 C, great views along the ridge , certainly a doable walk for anyone with moderate fitness , easily walked it in trainers no walking poles
