This place is the jewel (or gold nugget) of Villa Rica. Fun for kids of all ages. Super informative and we'll maintained. It gets better and better every year. They have lots of events throughout the year. I can't say enough good things about it.

Designed by legendary golf course architect, Tom Fazio, The Frog is recognized among the top courses in Georgia. Located off I-20 in Villa Rica, The Frog is a masterpiece complete with bentgrass greens, expansive bunkering, and has also attained status as an Audobon Cooperative Sanctuary.
This is just the second time I have played here and both times it had been a good experience. The course is in excellent shape. The greens are super fast. The course plays long. Par 3's were about 170yds. from gold tees. This is a semi private course which is open to the public. It's not cheap even for members at $35. If you can, come on out and test your skills. I recommend.

The filets were delicious and cooked perfectly, served on a bed of crispy onions and fingerling potatoes.
In addition to ordering a la carte, the restaurant offers a “fixed-prix” menu for $18.00 (appetizer, entrée and dessert). The fixed prix entrée choices were braised beef short rib, grilled summer chicken, shrimp and grits, or a vegetable plate. I thought the fixed menu and a la carte menu were both reasonably priced. I look forward to the change in seasonal menus.
I loved the layout and décor of the restaurant. Comfortable lighting and seating, great ambiance that allowed conversation and great background music. There are a lot of things I really liked about this restaurant; but what could have been a great dining experience was marred by the really poor service, which I had read about on Trip Advisor since June and from friends who had dined there. Friendly waitstaff but not properly trained by management.
Hopefully the service problems will be resolved soon (i.e. not getting our drinks, no refills on water, waiter disappearing, not knowledgeable on menu, not clearing dishes etc.). Overall rating was dragged down because of poor service. If the service was good I would eat here frequently.

Headed to the gym, my instinct asked me to follow my GPS; entered parks and listened to my lady friend guiding me for 10 more minutes from my original destination. Tucked on Ephesus Church Road lies Clinton Nature Preserve. I would have never imagined finding such a nice place like this. Children enjoy their playground. If up to a hike, there are three different trails; red, blue, and yellow. Pick your favorite color and head to adventure. Celebrating the last days of summers, some families were camping while others were enjoying frisbees and cross country competitions.
This place is a jewel for the whole family. Nature lovers find a little piece of paradise on earth.

My daughter chose to come to Atlanta for her 16th birthday and we hose to stay at Lake Tara townhouses. They were great, we loved that the beach was out our back door and the pool was right beside us. Everything in the house was wonderful as well, although a couple of the appliances needed to be updated, but e made do with what was available. Shopping is only a 10 minute drive away.
Had a fantastic time!
