Whatever the weather DangerPoint has something for everyone. We are an independent charity based in Talacre, North Wales. Open local School holidays, please telephone and check before travelling just in case we are fully booked. Our award winning interactive centre is designed like a film set where you can explore familiar settings like the home, beach, countryside, playground and farm, seeking out the dangers & answering detective questions to complete the Danger Detective Quest. With free parking and low entrance fees, this is a great family activity which makes learning about safety FUN! You can also talk to our friendly alien K-os, who comes to life on screens around the centre. Fully interactive, visitors can speak to him as they complete the Danger Detective Quest. During the Summer holidays we also have a Treasure Hunt and a Craft room ready for artists to paint various pottery or make crafts or Sand art. Prices in the Craftroom start from as little as £2.
Visited with my husband and 4 and half year old. What a unique place. Your given a work book to play detective and make your way through a variety of different themed spaces - all educational . EG road safety, internet safety , kitchen safety , bullying etc You have to do various activities or watch short videos in each section then answer questions in your work book. We had the added bonus of it being Easter and there being hidden eggs you had to find in each area to claim a chocolate prize . Although most of it went over my little boys head he still loved it as we did.

We stopped in a caravan park only 6 mins away from the Beach. The Beach was fairly quite, not overcrowded and lots of space. It was clean and well looked after. We even did nice a walk through the sand dunes a few times. Just by the Beach three is a chip shop, a bakery, resturant, ice cream shop and a souvenir shop with the usual bucket and spade etc. Talacre beach feels like a secret hidden treasure... so beautiful and peaceful too.

Excellent walk if you like to see the coastal sea birds in they're natural habitat. Take a pair of binoculars to get the full experience from this coastal walk
