This venue has had a name change. It is very interesting with artifacts from a private collector as well as acquired wagons, carts, jewelry and other interesting items of the American West. The most interesting thing to me was a children's interactive area where they could dress in bonnets, play on an Old West wagon and horse saddles. Also a reading corner to read and relax. Exceptional use of space and excellent staff.

This is an interesting stop, particularly if you are actually working your way around the Billy the Kid Scenic Byway. Inside the air conditioned building are clean restrooms and plenty of information on tourist attractions around the region. The highlight of this stop is the miniature of the scenic byway that you can walk. Stations that mimic the byway's stops are set up - take a picture with one of Roswell's aliens, pose with Smokey Bear, check out the town of Lincoln... it's such a fun and unexpected exhibit. There is a lot to see in here, and it's a nice place to stretch your legs. Parking is plentiful and the staff is friendly and helpful.

Vicki Conley is a superb potter with many unique pieces. My wife and I always stop here and purchase numerous pieces. One of the unique pieces that we use a lot is a bacon cooker. You put the bacon in slots in the top cover of the ceramic pot and microwave. The grease drips into the ceramic pot with no splattering of grease on the stove in cooking. I have previously purchased a pottery fountain and numerous other items. The owner also carries artwork of local artists. i highly recommend that one stops here.

We offer the opportunity for you and your kids to actually catch fish. We provide everything you need to fish. When you get done fishing we clean your fish and then we give you recipes for cooking your fish. Hours vary depending on the season, so please call for times.
We took our son for his birthday. He really wanted to catch a fish. We caught 4 within 30 minutes. The pond is stocked with rainbow trout and they are a pretty good size. Ours were 13 inches, 2 at 12 inches and 1 at 10 inches. The staff also offered to clean the fish for us. Great spot for kids to gain a love of fishing, easy for parents. There was no time for the kids to get bored. Highly recommend. We also parked our RV for 4 nights. It’s close to downtown (20 minutes). There are a lot of full time campers here but they were all very friendly and helpful.

I always go to this store each year while I am in the area to see what has changed in the hundreds of individual booths with a multitude of different items that are being sold on consignment. It is a trip down memory lane. There is just about everything you can imagine, including furniture, housewares, toys, jewelry, clothing, books, and collectables of all types. The displays are attractive, and the owner is there to answer questions. There is real silver and gemstone jewelry in several front cases as well as costume jewelry in various collections. The owner is helpful in giving extra information. This year is difficult for all store owners. They must require everyone to wear a mask because it is the state and local law. I am thankful that she is enforcing this law. This is to protect everyone who enters the store. Thanks to her for enforcing our state and local laws.I plan to visit again today.
