This is the single most beautiful and impressive highway welcome center I have seen and I have traveled in all 50 US States. It is in a wonderful setting with a magificent view and is a beautiful building with all amenities needed.

Rode the trail in Oct. It is fine crushed limestone. Somewhat easy to ride bikes on. Fairly flat. No holes to dodge. We rode 15 miles round trip including climb to the falls.
We parked at Darling Run. Rode to Turkey Path Trail. Climbed up short distance to the falls. There are steps a majority of the way. Then we rode to Tiadaghton Camping Area. Nice place to stop with restrooms and picnic tables.
Wished we had more time to ride more of the trail.

We stopped by The History Center to fill some holes in our family genealogy research and we're surprised at the scope and professionalism of their collections! A really fun and entertaining glimpse into the history of this small town!

This short and easy hike was a pleasant break from my auto touring last July. East walking and about two hours leaving time for pondering life and enjoying the views.
Lake Side Trail - 3 miles - Beginning at the entrance to the camping area this trail follows the lake shore in a westerly direction for about one mile, finally arriving at the Beaver Hut Boating Area. A beaver house plus many signs of beaver activity may be seen in this area. From the boating area the trail generally follows the lake shore in a southerly direction for about one mile, ending at the dam breast of Hills Creek Lake. This section of the trail offers an excellent variety of bird life attracted by seeds from white spruce, red-osier dogwood and viburnums that dominate this moist area. The trail then parallels the park road through Picnic Area No. 1 and passes the park office. It ends at a parking lot beyond the gate on the main entrance road, a distance of about 0.5-mile.

I live here, so I know. The folks at Emerge not only have the best facility, but great skills. I love the hot rocks (I get a signature massage) and trigger point release. They aren't wimpy massages but they don't make you cry with too-hard pressure either. I go for relaxation and sports-related injuries. I have family members who insist I make an appointment for them when they come to visit.

Benedict's Bus Service has been a family-owned transportation company since 1964. We offer day trips and multi-day trips throughout the year, to many various locations, both near and far. We pride ourselves on providing the best customer service we can and offering fun, exciting group tours!
I went on a Relay for Life wine tasting trip fundraiser around Seneca Lake back in May and Benedict's Bus Service was the mode of transportation. The hostess on our bus did a fantastic job of entertaining us on the ride up with Bingo and trivia (prizes were chocolate!). Our driver was professional and he made sure we were safely delivered to each winery. It was a fun filled day for a good cause.
Benedict's has all sorts of trips available, from day trips to multi-day, with a wide range of interests and places to visit. Besides going to MLB games (in Baltimore, NY and Boston), they do trips to NYC (go at Christmastime to see the Rockettes at Radio City), Sight and Sound in Lancaster, concerts and tours of museums to name a few. A favorite is their mystery tour, where all you get are a couple of clues to your destination.
I have been on a few trips with Benedict's and every time it has been a great experience. The staff is top notch and Maria is very accommodating. I wouldn't hesitate to use them again or go on one of their tours.
