Randsfjordferja is the only Year-Round Inland Ferry in Norway. The ferry that takes up to 16 cars and 49 passengers, has saved people from Hadeland and other travellers for countless hours of driving. If you arrive from the north or the south on highway RV 4, the transportation offer is highly to be recommended. Besides saving time and money, you’ll get a short, but pleasant fjord experience. In addition to being a connecting link, the ferry is perfect for all who take a round trip by car or bicycle.

I passed trough the town of Grimsbu in my car and i had to pull over to get a picture of the traditional bp petrol station (circa 1960). It's a great and usual thing to see.

Folldal Gruver is a historical mining community in the mountainous heart of Norway. The heritage site consists of about 70 buildings, slag heaps, tips and equipment, dating from almost 250 years of mining history. Folldal gruver is included in the Directorate for Cultural Heritage’s programme for industrial heritage, and thus holds a special status in Norway's industrial history. Today, this history is told through museum exhibits, guided tours of the mine and historical trails. In the museum, there is also an exhibition focusing on the surrounding National Parks and their inhabitants. Accommodation in historical buidlings, a café and a little gift shop are part of the attraction. Folldal tourist information is also located here.
