Although quite small, this nature museum has very good educational opportunities. It is very clean, neat, and well-organized. There are many educational classes and many resources available. The "swim with the turtles"video is a very enjoyable feature for all ages.

We guide/outfit off-road-bike and snowshoe tours, offer off-road bike and snowshoe rentals, and sell off-road biking apparel. We operate in Cable, WI during the winter and in the Chicago area during the spring, summer, and fall.
As an avid road bike rider wanted to try the fat tire bike. Two of us rented fat tire bikes from Up North Tours. No tour just rental of bikes. Josh was very accommodating and provided a nice bike for both of us. We chose to ride the Short and Fat race trail, 16 miles of great trails. With about 4 miles left to go I got a flat on the rear tire :(. Had a spare tube but nothing to inflate it with, usually carry an inflator but not this time. Called Josh and he came out to a B&B, fixed the flat and we were on our way.
Can't say enough about him, his business and the customer service he provided. Have had some friends use him for a family tour and they had a blast. He was on the tour with them.
In short, would highly recommend him and his business. Great bikes and great customer service. Just remember that if you choose to just rent a bike to take some means of inflating a tube. Could save a walk in the woods.

We used to be timeshare owners at Telemark, and had some time/points left to use up. I hadn't been in the condos since they were renovated and I was impressed for the most part. Our condo included a gas fireplace and a jacuzzi tub, nice touches, and there are very nice x-c ski and snowshoe trails right on the property, although the snowshoe trails were poorly marked and most of the time we were making it up as we went along. This is a very nice, scenic piece of property, we snowshoed to the top of Mt. Telemark and enjoyed the view. The only complaint I'd have is that no one told us the electric baseboard heat was connected to load management. One night it was like -15 and the electric company cut off the power to the baseboards. In addition to the fireplace the condo had an electric thermal storage unit, so it's not like we were going to freeze, but both heat sources were in the living room, with baseboards to supplement in the dining room, bedroom, and bathroom, and it got a little chilly in the bedroom and bathroom in the two hours before the baseboards came back on. It wouldn't have been much of an issue if we had been aware of the load management, but since we weren't, we got a little concerned.
I'd like to see someone reopen the lodge at Telemark, having a restaurant and some other amenities on the property would be a plus, but this is still a nice place for a quiet getaway to the north woods.

Took 2 hour UTV Runamuck tour with their driver Ryan all over back trails in upper Wisconsin. Runamuck provided helmets and goggles. It was absolutely fantastic. We could never have done this on our own. He knew all the best places and trails to visit and tailored ride to our preferences. Kass at their office was very helpful in setting up the tour for us. Would highly recommend!!!!
The only reason I gave 4 out of 5 stars to this was that their standard deposit of $1500. For utv rentals was pretty hefty considering that we were taking their tour with their driver ( not really renting one of their vehicles for our own personal use) and it took almost a week to get our deposit credited back to our charge card.
