my first visit to Hillforest on Mother's Day, 2019 with my family grandchildren/great grandchildren. Everyone enjoyed the tour - our guide was entertaining and of good humor as well. I highly recommend the tour / relaxing, fun (at least with our tour guide) and you will come away with more knowledge about the history of Aurora and the surrounding area.

Come sit by the river and let the stress of the day roll off like the waves on the river. There are several benches and picnic shelters or you can just sit in your car. There is also a nice paved walking trail if you need to work off your stress. There are restroom facilities onsite and a playground for the kids. Whatever you desire, this is a peaceful safe place to sit and relax and enjoy the scenic view.
