Please note, due to low water levels, there are currently no row boats at Yanchep National Park. Whether you‘re looking for a day trip near Perth or a quick stop on your journey to the Pinnacles or further north, Yanchep National Park (just 45 minutes north of Perth city) provides you the opportunity to experience kangaroos, koalas, limestone caves and Aboriginal culture in a natural setting. Enjoy a game of golf on our 9 hole natural course, book your special occasion in our purpose made Cabaret Cave, walk along one the park’s trails (ranging in distance from 500mtrs to 55kms), enjoy a picnic in the natural surrounds or savor your appetite at one of the dining facilities located in the park.
We arrived before the park opened but you are still allowed in. We saw amazing wading birds, pelicans and others. Also vivid blue wrens. The koala walk was great too and enabled us to see these animals in close proximity. Well tended gardens made for a lovely early morning walk.

Opened in 1981, the Wanneroo Botanic Gardens and Mini Golf is just 30 minutes from the Perth CBD. Enjoy a meal at the onsite restaurant Leapfrogs or experience the Gardens as you play 36 holes of Mini Golf. A kaleidoscope of colours, sights and sounds that will overwhelm your senses. Walk amongst the dappled shade of tall trees as you explore the many flower displays, rockeries and waterfalls. The 18-hole Garden course and the 18-hole Billiard Golf course combine to create Australia’s largest outdoor Mini Golf complex. Terrific fun for the whole family!
I have been to the Wanneroo botanic gardens several times now. Today’s visit was to play mini golf which was so much fun. They’ve upgraded some of the courses which looks really good and as usual the garden’s were decorated this time being Christmas themed. We used RAC membership to get a discount on tickets which ended up making them really reasonably priced. The gardens are looking spectacular and are so well maintained. The Christmas lights definitely got you into the Christmas spirit. I would highly recommend visiting the garden even if you’re not playing golf as there’s so much to see and take in. P.S if your going in the evening don’t forget your mozzie spray.

This was such a fun cave tour. Yes we have seen others but Crystal Cave has it's own uniqueness! Tour guide Yvette was very knowledgeable and her ability to connect with her group of 6 was outstanding! She has a wickedly funny sense of humour which appealed everyone on tour! Highly recommend this attraction! Cheers from the Cockroaches!????
