I love this place for watching movies! It's like stepping back into yiur childhood! The consession stand still gets busy so you can bring your own snacks and popcorn from home but the hamburgers are pretty good there. Shows teo current movies and you listen from your radio in the car. If come before dark, yu can play a little frisbee or toss the football around. I hope it never goes away!

We found this museum online as a nearby activity while on our anniversary trip to Knoxville Tennessee. The museum attendees were very knowledgeable about the Cades Cove history and they were very passionate about their history.

Excellant walking. Wonderful fountain and bridges. Very pretty. And super clean. Saw plenty of ducks, cranes and even a turtle.

I've stopped by a few time to the old schoolhouse on previous visits. The location is so serene I could just sit there for hours. I love the history of the building and the information about the past. It doesn't take long to stop by and have a look and it's definitely worth the time to visit and have a look around the building and grounds. Enjoy...
