This trail was about 25 minutes from where we were staying. Well worth the drive. Hike was a bit challenging and very rocky. Waterfall was a little over a mile from the trail head. There were other people on the trail but it wasn't terribly crowded.

My family of 5, with kids from 10 - 15 had an amazing 3 hour trip into the hillside of Paradise Valley with Bear Paw Outfitters. This was undoubtedly a Top 3 highlight for our 2 weeks in Grand Tetons and Yellowstone! We haven't done a lot of horseback riding in the past, but my kids are still talking about this trip. We had plenty of room for the horses to spread out so we weren't "tail to nose" the whole way. The horses are well trained and know the way, yet they take direction well. For the 3 hour trip we had plenty of time to get up into the hillside and enjoy the spectacular views of Paradise Valley. We even got to do a small stream crossing each way. Tim is a little tough for those who are thin-skinned, but it's all part of the rugged Montana horesman charm. He's clearly dedicated to safety and the care of the horses. As a 4th generation, he knows a lot of history of the area.

This beautiful and peaceful park is nestled alongside the Yellowstone River. It's got amazing shaded picnic areas, plenty of space for paying soccor or catch with the kiddos, and an epic playground for the littles...all with spectacular views of the mountains surrounding Livingston!
