The National park Dwingelderfeld is a very beautiful piece of nature. You'll find hiere everything what is representative for the Original outlook of the province Drenthe: Hay, woods, ven (little lakes in the hay) sheep, fox and other animals. A fantastic palce for nature walks or bicycle tours.

In de tuinen van Châteauhotel en -restaurant De Havixhorst, een fraaie 18e eeuwse Havesathe, lommerrijk gelegen tussen De Wijk en Meppel in Zuidwest-Drenthe, is sinds juni 2008 een bijzondere verzameling beelden te zien. Het enige beeldenpark in Nederland met een compact kunsthistorisch overzicht van de Nederlandse figuratieve beeldhouwkunst vanaf het einde van de 19e eeuw tot en met heden.

Great Zoo with lots of animals like lions with the covid you have to buy a ticket in front. Parking is VERY expensive
