We were staying at grange park farm up the road and decided to have a go at paddle boarding, easy to book on line, there was option to have an instructor (or not) and seeing as we hadn’t tried it before decided that would be best! Easy parking and cafe/ restaurant on site(which we didn’t use). Met Richard the instructor who had boards ready for us, very friendly and easy to talk to, gave very clear instructions and showed us what to do on the water before we got in, great fun although it was a very windy day so we were blown all over the lake! Felt sorry for Richard trying to round us up! Great fun and felt safe with flotation device worn, would imagine anyone of any age would enjoy, not just the paddle boarding but the array of fun things to do there, lovely location, thanks Richard for your patience and for not laughing when I fell in !!

Me and my partner spent a few hours here for my birthday on the 12th and we loved it! Our favourite part being Chutney, the baby seal, wishing the little one a quick recovery!! Great day and great value at approx £8 pp and the gift shop was reasonably priced too, I got a lovely keepsake for my Dad who recently passed as we used to come here together as a child. Highly recommend.

Heard good reports about the area so thought we would visit and was very impressed of the lovely clean beach and surrounding area The prom was well kept as well as the garden areas Plenty for children to do a nice play area , fare ground , nice cafes , donkey rides , paddling pool , and boating lake . Car parking is free after 6 car parking was a reasonable price . I miss calculated as we arrived after 4 as it 1 hour and next is 3 hour prices I put on £3 for 3 hour as I knew it was free from 6 and it refunded me a pound coin never seen that before because I had reached maximum parking before it was free normally parking meters take your money . Well done Mabletherpe council for being honest
