Upon visiting Haida Gwaii we stopped by Ben's gallery to check out some local art. Well 3 pieces later and some great experiences we will be back. The only part of Ben that is bigger than his talent, is his heart. Great guy

The Queen Charlotte Visitor Center is located on the waterfront with gorgeous ocean views. Open year round, we are the best local source of information on visiting Haida Gwaii. Inside the longhouse inspired building you will find engaging, resourceful staff, artisan galleries, an extensive gift shop as well as useful interpretive materials including a touch tank saltwater aquarium. Head outside to our interpretive garden and picnic area to relax and take in the fresh air. We also have a large parking area for RVs and clean indoor public restrooms.
I made several visits to the Information Centre during my week in Queen Charlotte, and Skye was extremely helpful every time - whether guiding me about hiking trails, local artists, or restaurants, she was eager to inform. She helped make our visit a success. The Centre itself is attractive and well laid out, with a fine assortment of souvenirs, local art work, and guide books.

I had heard about this store and must say, it was even better in real life! They had beautiful first nation art & jewellery, lots of amazing crystals & just tons of cool stuff! it seems like it is in the middle of nowhere, a gem tuck away, with a little stone circle inviting you in. They do have a cabin for rent & I would love to go back & stay there....... Crystal Cabin is like finding a unicorn!!!!!
