Fourteen of us came here for a stag do on one of the hottest days of the year. We arrived feeling unable to talk, think or move, but the moment we walked in and got greeted by the brewer Richard our mood changed completely. The beer was delicious, plentiful and varied and we even got to try some local cider for those that preferred. The equipment was interesting, and whilst the tour is essentially of one room it was fascinating to hear about the processes. What really made the whole tour was Richard. Throughout he was welcoming and friendly, his knowledge was immense and he clearly loved his job immensely. At the end we even got to take away a glass and a bottle. Fully recommend to anyone.

Ocean Adventurers opened its doors in July 2019. It is one of the largest and most interactive centres in the South West with separate areas for babies (0-2), toddlers (2-4) and juniors (5-12). It features a sensory area for babies and a role play village making this a place children will want to stay for hours! Offering high quality food and drink and free on site parking, the Ocean Adventurers staff will do their utmost to make your visit as memerable as possible. No matter the weather outside, the centre is always at a constant temperature thanks to its state of the art air conditioning and heating system.
We visited here with with our 5 and 2 year olds. They have got everything in place given the current situation & the staff were fantastic. The boys had a brilliant time!

Lots of great cheese to choose from and cider too???? Got good advice as to which cheese to choose along with how it is made

This is a lovely little cheese shop selling many different varities of cheddar all of which are made in the village, including the wondeful cave matured variety. As one would expect, it costs somewhat more than the supermarket but it is worth it for the quality and the taste.

Did the longer cave challenge with my daughter, who has done escape rooms before in London. We were well looked after by the patron and were given head torches and a walkie talkie so we could contact him at any stage for clues and hints. There are 3 rooms (2 are caves) with lots of locks to undo, boxes to break into and a door to "dynamite"! It was challenging and fun and helpful to have someone to ask for hints when you were really stuck. But we got out with 2 minutes to spare and managed to solve most of the puzzles without help. Its big enough for 6 people My tip would be to wear old clothes as it is quite dusty in there, My daughter thought it was a lot better than the one she did in London.
