At the Thai Orchid we offer a great range of authentic Thai dishes, which truly bring out the flavours of eastern world. Our location in north Wiltshire means our customers travel from far and wide to enjoy Thai food cooked the proper way, with recipes ha
Visited randomly in the search for a new Thai restaurant to try and very much enjoyed the food. We shared a vegetarian starter platter followed by Thai green curry and coconut rice, none of which I could fault at all! Portions were very filling â they helpfully provided containers for us to take some of the leftovers home. Only small downsides was it was very cold inside and the soft drinks were a little flat but nothing to put me off visiting again.

Food is the ingredient that binds us together! As you might have known, we're formerly called JRC. But one day in 2016, Mr. Yu was invited to Swindon by his close friend. He decided to settle down here with his passion and culinary skills. YC Global Buffe
Polite and helpful staff, restaurant is on ground floor with no steps and its easy for disabled people to access. Lots of space to move round and lots of choice from the different world buffets [the teppenyaki is really good]. The night I was there, the table next to us had a childrens party and the acoustics made it sound even louder with all the kids screaming. These kids were the exception though. Their parents just let them run riot around the restaurant whilst the poor staff were trying to avoid them in case they dropped hot plates and servers on them. Maybe it would have been a good idea then one of the parents might have learned that you teach your kids to behave and respect others. All the other children in the restaurant were well behaved I might add!! I thought the staff did really well under the circumstances. I would definitely visit again as I thought the food and service was really good and good value for money too.

My husband and I stopped at this cafe for lunch last weekend. The owner was very sweet and very attentive to all customers' needs. When our meals came my husband and I were both very happy with the portion size, and the food tasted absolutely wonderful! We will definitely be back!

Monday night friends dining. Food was spectacular. Well worth the money. Great service. Lovely atmosphere. Cocktails, starters, mains, puddings. I had tempura veg, a friend had steamed basket which she loved. The mains blew us away. I had the Lamb SiamThai Curry £11.50 - Tender Lamb in special curry with potato, coconut milk, Thai herbs and spices. IT WAS AMAZING! Not spicy hot, and so tasty. Coconut rice was huge and actually two of us couldâve shared. Friends had chicken salad and pork green Thai curry. Both loved. We didnât have room for pudding. We had it anyway. Friend had Mochi which was tiny and she enjoyed. Oh I had CHOCOLATE FONDANT! Except it wasnât called that on the menu, and I was so excited when it came. It was described as a chocolate cake with chocolate custard... anyway it was lush!We had a wonderful evening and the food was delicious. Thank you!Not only does this restaurant have great trip advisor reviews but it scores 5/5 for food hygiene too. Exceeded expectations- we will be back.

Authentic thai cusine cooked by thai chef's in a relaxed enviroment
Starters, mains and a drink for under £20 was great value. Good service at a very popular place. Just a shame that the vegetable pad Thai which we were told had tofu in didnât. Will be back.

Although it's address is High Street, it's actually off a side road from the High Street.
This was our first time at this restaurant, though we were with friends who use it regularly., We were blown away with the food , it is so tasty. My wife does not eat rice , but she thought everything she had ( no rice ) was fantastic, I try myself at this style of cooking and it has inspired me to go away and try again , though with no chance of replicating the wonderfully tasty food we ate last week. Everybody is so friendly and we were made to feel really welcome. Thank you all for a superb evening.

Great tasting authentic Thai food, probably the best Ivectasted outside Thailand. The lunchtime set menu for £7.50 represents fabulous value. I have the vegetarian option so if you want tofu and vegetables you need to say so and it's an extra £1. That's not a problem but it would help if it said so somewhere rather than finding out by trial and error. Flavours and portion sizes do seem to fluctuate from time to time bug I've not had a poor meal there in 6-8 visits over the past 2 years.
