A local from Mawlamyine showed me this place, and it's PHENOMENAL!Chan Chan Myae is a small, local, family owned restaurant. The food is all cooked before your eyes and you can see how fresh and clean everything is. Everything was impeccable and delicious! Strongly recommended, especially if you want to try something different. Support a local family, eat quality food, enjoy great value for your money. Not yet frequented by tourists because still unknown. *they have English menu. Mains run about 1500-2000 Ks. Located right off the main road. Bona patite

Located next to Than Lwin river. Delicious food and awesome menu combining Myanmar and Thai food.The staff were the nicest people we have encountered in Myanmar in a 4 weeks journey.We went there on our first night in Mawlamyine and repeated the next day.
