We came here for our first dinner in Kona this trip. The food was every bit as good as the other reviews suggest, if not a bit better (we are foodies). Service was delightful -- and the pricing was exceptionally reasonable for Kailua-Kona. Well worth finding the place!

Authentic Thai cuisine with the addition of some international bistro options. Now closed on Wednesday to better serve you the rest of the week.
We drove 2 hours to Volcano National Park hoping to do some star gazing over Kilueau Iki crater. However it was overcast and rainy, which is always a possibility for that region. So we made up for that by visiting Thai Thai, a favourite spot. It seemed to us that the menu has changed. There are now fewer Thai options and more American options which we ignored. We ordered Pad Thai, green papaya salad, Thai Thai curry and family size mango sticky rice which left us feeling very satisfied but not stuffed. It was a good choice for 3 adults. My wife has taken Thai cooking classes and we often order green papaya salad. This one at Thai Thai was the best we have ever had. Beware, even at a normal spice level it is spicy. My son is usually meh about this salad but he also loved it. I generally feel the same about Pad Thai , I have never understood the fuss about it, but loved this one. The Thai Thai curry was a bit of a disappointment. It tasted ok but lacked something. It did not have the flavour and aroma that I normally associate with Thai food. Next time we will just get green or yellow. The mango sticky pudding was similarly unexceptional. A very large mango with a small helping of blue sticky rice. Ok, but nothing to write home about. We left very satisfied but felt it has lost something in the change to a different menu.

Tina' cooks your meal to order, using wonderful but not overdone spices, and the freshest ingredients from the farm, sea and market. Everything is delicious. Portions are large. You may want to split a meal if you aren't that hungry. the only downside? Better have the time to wait for thaat custom cooked meal. Tina's is very popular and there;s only room for one chef in the kitchen, so you'll have to wait y our turn. but if you have the time, relax andf wait for a mouth watering and wonderful meal. I especially love her tom ka soup! Lunch only, except for special occasions.

Hubby and I shared pineapple fried rice and rice noodles with savory sauce. Both were fantastic. Iced tea good too. Good sized plates. Very tasty meals. Would return without hesitation. A bit warm inside, but they had extra fans going to cool room. Fast service, no wait on Fri night around 6 pm.

After looking on TripAdvisor I really wanted to try this food truck while we passed thru Volcano. The address listed here on TripAdvisor took us to a gated off road (possibly a driveway) in what appeared to be a neighborhood. Sadly, we never did find this truck.Maybe an update of their location on TripAdvisor is necessary. Aloha, sorry but we are(were) not operating at this time. We lost our lease at our community center. We hope to open up again soon in Volcano at a different location.Sorry for the confusion
