We stayed in the Bestland hotel and the restaurant is right there on the 2nd floor. Packed with locals, we were offered to sit in the next door bar and have the restaurant's sushi there. It's a good deal as the bartender has great English. The Sushi (mostly Nigiri) was perfect / sublime / everything you expect from high-end sushi in Japan, and truly make a unique experience you can't find anywhere else in the world. This is not a budget sushi place, but definitely not overpriced. The plate in the picture cost 4000 Yen but included my special request of sea urchin and fatty tuna. There are combo deals with Sashimi, Sushi and Tempura for 5000-6000 yen

This is the Tsukuba branch of the traditional Sushi restaurant "Kintarozushi" in Asakusa, Tokyo, since 1921. Yet, it's a good Sushi Restaurant in Tsukuba at affordable price!! Not only Sushi, but also other Japanese cuisines such as Tempura are also good here. My foreign friends also love this restaurant and I can recommend this restaurant to everybody!!

This is a great sushi restaurant. It has great sushi with fish chosen fresh from the fish market by the chef every day. Staff are friendly and make you really feel relaxed and at home. It has a relaxed atmosphere and is very popular with the locals.
