The title is self-explanatory. I think it is a bit on the pricey side compared to other places around, but I think it is better than others nearby. I do wish they would deliver though

We are frequent visitors to Yuki. The service is efficient, friendly and the food delicious. I love sushi and theirs is always fresh and tasty. My boyfriend doesnât eat sushi but loves their chicken with garlic butter. They donât have a liquor license but will gladly heat up your saki if you bring a bottle. I have also ordered delivery from them a number of times. Quick delivery and the same delicious food.

Great service with a smile. The Hibachi was a lot of fun. The cook did a wonderful presentation. They did a nice job with the birthday celebration made her feel very special. The food was great. Most of us had the steak and scallops.

I went to Kumo for lunch today and the sushi was delicious! I had the soup, salad and sushi for $10. The soup and salad was alright, nothing special. I had 6 pieces of California roll and 6 pieces of sweet potato roll. It was so fresh and tasty! I had never heard of a sweet potato roll. It wasn't overwhelmingly sweet and I think some of it was dipped in tempura batter. The restaurant was clean, and beautifully decorated in a modern decor but it was very dark inside, maybe a little too dark. I'm looking forward to trying more of their menu items. You can't go wrong here.

Upon entering, we were greeted warmly, and seated quickly. The location offers a regular menu, but we were there for the buffet. Our friendly server explained the process and placed two papers on the table to check off what items we wanted. The first one was for different salads, soups, appetizers, and desserts. The second one offered an assortment of different sushi and rolls. The process is to try up to three or four items at a time, then order more. New sheets of paper are given when a new order is wanted. One should not order to much at once because there would be to much platters of food on the table, and if there is extra food left over, it will be paid for as a penalty. This somewhat cuts down on food waste. One can mix and match any category throughout their eating time. The platters are well organized, the food is prepared fresh and very delicious. I suggest to order different sushi that the table can share so it gives a chance to try more different ones, and the eaters will not fill up so fast. Truly, my experience at this location was amazing and the amount of food that we ate was a real value. The staff is helpful, and friendly. I will be returning.

5 Stars Rating Seafood,Sushi and Steak House in Pearl River, KOI 21 has everything you need from a date night â ambiance, GREAT food AND drink. We fuses traditional Japanese food with inventive French inspired nouvelle cuisines topped with talented chefs
My second sushi stop in Pearl River, which appears to have more sushi per capita than any small town Iâve ever encountered was Koi 21. It is aptly named as a major attraction of the restaurant is a large (Iâm guessing at least 1,000 gallons) indoor Koi pond with a waterfall and probably three dozen Koi. The colorful Japanese fish, selectively bred from Chinese carp are fun to watch. Some, I was told by the owner are 30 years old. (Although the restaurant just opened â the âGrand Openingâ banner is still flying outside â the fish were installed by the prior owner who operated at the location for many years before retiring and selling out to the current Chinese ownership. I have Koi myself and some of Koi 21âs were very nice specimens; some were 18 inches long and looked well-fed. Kids would love it and there is a childrenâs hibachi menu. The restaurant has a small (four seat) sushi bar and plenty of table space. I always go for the bar. It being lunchtime, I went with the Sushi and Sashimi lunch combo, a bargain at $14.95. In addition to soup or salad, you get 8 pieces of sashimi, four pieces of nigiri sushi and a tekka maki (tuna roll). All the fish were very fresh. The sashimi came in a presentation I have never seen before; I will try to describe it as best I can. Take a glass serving bowl and put a battery operated light that changes colors (reminded me of the wild tables and chairs at Morimotoâs Philadelphia restaurant and sushi bar). Cover that with ice; the lights shine through the ice. Put the sashimi on top of the ice protected by shiso leaves. There you have it. Interesting and a bit of fun. There are also a la carte sushi and sashimi options as well as all the specialty rolls that Americans demand of their sushi bars. In addition, there are noodle dishes, teriyaki, hibachi and bento boxes.Of note, they have a well-curated selection of 8 sakes, arranged by âBeginner,â Sake Drinkerâ and âExpert,â priced accordingly and served cold. I prefer my sake âkarakuchiâ (very dry) and one was available but I opted for my favorite Asahi Super Dry. American beers are available as well.Recommended.
