Reviews on Steakhouse food in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, United States. One of the most historic cities in America, Philadelphia is an ideal place to spend a weekend - preferably a long one. Be sure to see the Liberty Bell and Independence Hall, where the Constitution and Declaration of Independence were signed. Both are part of Independence National Historic Park. Philadelphia also boasts some outstanding art museums, including the Rodin Museum. The Franklin Institute Science Museum is one of many area attractions honoring the life and work of Benjamin Franklin, the city's most famous ambassador. After digesting all of that history, be sure you save room for a classic Philly cheese steak sandwich.

We haven't been to Urban Farmer in almost 3 years, since November 2017, and, unfortunately, it looks like that the quality went downhill, and did so sharply. The menu is very scarce, the dishes offered are boring, the proclaimed "farm-to-table" aspect gets lost in transition, the ingredients are your usual diner fare, the cherry chicken sausage felt bland, straight out of a supermarket, the vegetable frittata was freely floating in the excessive amount of oil/grease, and the cappuccino tasted terribly staled. The service is, again, diner-like, generic and impersonal. Overall, more than disappointing.

My wife and I celebrated her 63rd birthday tonight at Del Frisco’s. Things could not have been better. We had a warm greeting at the front door. The service at our table was five star+. Dan, Erica and Alex made our night very special. Prompt, friendly and caring service!!!We started the night with the VIP drink special. Fantastic!!!The wine selection is very good. The wine service was even better. All 3 servers plus others took very good care of us to make sure our glasses were filled to the level we desired. We loved our meals. The sea bass and the three steak medallions were delicious. We also shared a Caesar salad. Our drinks, salads, and entree were timed perfectly. The venue is gorgeous. This is converted bank to a beautiful restaurant. They don’t make buildings like this anymore. To top off the evening they provided a complementary birthday dessert for my wife. Wow!!! Very nice touch. Enjoy. We did...

Gargantuan cuts of prime beef, extra thick chops, and simply prepared fresh seafood are the straightforward offerings of this steakhouse that evokes the supper clubs of Manhattan in the 1940's. Leopard print carpeting, black lacquered walls trimmed in bra

The place is quite elegant, there is a well stocked bar and the tables are in a large room with sumptuous furniture and decoration. The menu is full of intriguing choices but I selected the place for the meat, so I went for the signature rib cut and the corn off the cob. The “look and feel” was extraordinary: the meat was so tasty and tender that I was astounded. Even the corn was super excellent! The staff was extremely friendly and efficient and everything was top notch. Definitely worth every penny, highly recommended!

Coming to FDC to celebrate my husband's birthday. The night started off wrong when we were kept waiting for 25min for our table even with a reservation. I understand the restaurant was busy but it was a special occasion so I didn't appreciate the lack of attention. The mixed drinks are all extremely sweet even the lowest calorie options. Our server did not show up so our hostess had to give us the quick run through the menu. This is not the first time I have been to this location and I am so disappointed. When our server finally showed up to take the order from us, she show bad attitude, left the table without saying anything, and left the stack of menus on our table to our surprise. We waited for another 15min to be finally greeted by another gentleman in blue shirt, who probably acknowledged our table wasn't served properly. He promptly gave us our side dishes and requested sauces so we could start eating. Half way through our meal, our drinks finally showed up. 10min later, the server came back with the sauces. She clearly didn't look on our table to see if we already had been helped or not when she came to drop off the drinks. Noone mentioned anything to my husband about his birthday celebration either. I can't believe the service has gone downhill that much here. We could not enjoy the rest of the time there. NEVER AGAIN. Oh, the tablet they used to charge my credit card died half way (out of battery, I guess) while I was patiently waiting for it to process my credit card. Our waitress came back and upon hearing what it did, she looked at me like I did something terrible to break her tablet instead of acknowledging the issue. Unbelievable!

We were celebrating our daughter's 16th birthday (her "first choice" restaurant for dinner!) and our meal was wonderful. The service was fabulous, the food was delicious, and the extra touches for our daughter were appreciated (personalized card, with some confetti on the table, and a special dessert sampler). We have eaten at several Capital Grille locations, but this one stands out as one of our better experiences. The staff went out of their way to make sure we had an enjoyable meal - when one of the steaks had to be sent back to cook just an extra minute (literally a minute), a side dish we had been contemplating was sent out (free of charge) to compensate. Yes, it's expensive... But perfect for a celebration. Great upscale "chain" steakhouse in Philly. Just a side note: This restaurant is directly across the street from the Ritz Carlton, so super easy for hotel guests (it worked perfectly for us!) And the bar area seemed to be popular - nice atmosphere. You won't be disappointed!

My oh my! First time to have wagyu and it's well worth it. Hopefully I never find myself requesting my last meal, but if I do, it'll be the Wagyu New York Strip from Barclay Prime. Also had the truffle whipped potatoes and mushrooms. Amazing! The service was impeccable. Our server was Jessica Hahn and she was fabulous. It was our anniversary and they even brought out a dessert with a Happy Anniversary in chocolate syrup on the plate. Be prepare to make a reservation ahead and if you order Wagyu, be prepared for a big price tag. It's worth it though. You can dress up super nice, business casual, or even all the way casual. I think business casual is best.

I can’t fault this place for a very special night. The atmosphere and surroundings are wonderful. The menu has several great choices. My group of 6 all ordered seafood appetisers and steaks- each one was beautifully presented and the different steaks were all perfectly cooked and very tasty. The side dishes are great. We did not have room for desert. The wine menu is very extensive and the sommelier was very knowledgeable
