On a recent trip to visit our friends in Columbus we stopped at our old stomping grounds. Once our favorite dining experience. We met a friend for cocktails and possibly dinner. We arrived from the airport during happy hour. There were 3 bar staff and 8 people at the bar. Our friend had already ordered her cocktail before we arrived. After more than 5 minutes, my husband motioned for the attention of one of the bar staff. She said "just a minute" and walked away. Another bartender was just walking back and forth and yet other was stacking glasses. There were very few tables filled. After 5 minutes more, she took our cocktail order. She never once came back to see if we wanted to order food. Our friend had to leave to go to a meeting so we paid the checks and went to Cap City for dinner. Perhaps you no longer serve anyone over 50? Don't think I will go back there. This place used to rock when it first opened. Not so much now. Sad!

Texas de Brazil, is a Brazilian steakhouse, or churrascaria, that features endless servings of ï¬ame-grilled beef, lamb, pork, chicken, and Brazilian sausage as well as an extravagant salad area with a wide array of seasonal chef-crafted items.
Air conditioning is broken and according to staff has been an ongoing problem for YEARS. They even wrote to OSHA about it! Works some days and some days it doesn't. Probably between 75-80 degrees inside the restaurant. Not an optimal temp for the laid out cold salads or for gorging on meat.Food itself was OK with sirloin and flank steak being the best cuts. Others were salty, charred, or doused in garlic. Bacon-wrapped meats had soggy bacon that overpowered chicken and filet flavors. Server worked very hard to insure we got cuts we requested. KUDOS!Cinnamon sugar bananas, Brazilian cheese bread, potatoes au gratin, and Lobster bisque were outstanding.but hard to enjoy in such heat.Very sweetly gave our birthday girl a free dessert with candle to make a wish.

Sat at the bar, service was average, staff should spend less time talking to each other and more time serving the customer. The bar lunch menu is very limited, decided to visit another restaurant based on the average service and limited menu. Will not return!Hello Philohio,Thank you for taking the time to let us know about your experience. Which day did you stop by? We would like to follow up with our service team and make sure those issues do not arise again. If you wouldn't mind letting me know, I would appreciate it.

Has not been to the hickory House in some time and since we were on the team east side of Columbus thought we would stop in at the one in Gahanna. There was no room in the dining room but open seats in the bar area. Sat down and were greeted right away and bar tender was very pleasant but seemed in a hurry. Not that busy in the bar. Once we got our drinks we ordered our food, wife got salad , barbecue salmon and asparagus. I ordered the brisket sandwich with fries. My order was very good. Very lean brisket and fries were done just right. Wifeâs started well with the salad but then the salmon was undercooked and the asparagus was mushy not crisp. It was chilly inside as well so we did kit venture into the deserts. Not the usual 100% satisfaction!

Just got back to San Diego from the east coast and had to leave a review for this stellar experience! The front door was held open by a staff member as we entered (nice touch). Table service was fast and consistent. Kyra T., our server, was very attentive and had a delightful sense of humor. Even the manager stopped by our table to check on things. We ordered a variety of steaks and seafood, and all were absolutely superb and perfectly cooked. The wine and beer selection was very good. We had just gotten off a flight and were looking for a place to have a steak before going to our hotel room -- WOW -- we scored, so we give this place a perfect 5 star rating!

We have dined here many times, and always look forward to a trip to Easton so we can dine at The Ocean Club. Simply put, the food and service are always top-notch. The wine list is extensive, so we always find a great bottle that pairs perfectly with our dinners. The restaurant is nicely appointed, and dining here is relaxing and enjoyable. But, be prepared - it can be a bit pricey...but it is worth it!Thank you for your kind words. We are so glad that you enjoy your meal with us and appreciate your support. We look forward to seeing you again soon!

Just visited for the first time - special occasion. Overall, the experience was good - I thought our service was excellent.. I think everything else, including the food, was good but not great. I never mind paying for a great meal - I'm not sure this meal was worthy of $175 for two people ... in fact, I know it wasn't. This included splitting an appetizer and salad, and one drink each, and then the main entrees. I do think the portions were very good. I'm interested in trying again, and perhaps trying something a little less pricey.
