As a senior couple, we have been to this restaurant three times in the last several months. We have had the salmon with shrimp and mushroom topping, Each time it was excellent. We have had a different server each time but they each provided excellent service. We joined the Dine Rewards program to get 50% off on our 4th visit.

Restaurant was too busy on a Friday night with a one hour wait, so we returned Saturday for lunch. All three of us ordered steaks, two KC strips and a sirloin. Steaks were cooked and seasoned perfectly. Baked potatoes and sides were very good, and we enjoyed the rolls with the cinnamon butter too. Plenty of shelled peanuts to snack on if you do have to wait. Did not disappoint, would return here again.

I was excited to finally go here for dinner but I was largely ignored by my server. An embarrassed restaurant coworker/server watching this go on apologized and finally filled my water and brought my check. My pasta meal was very good, salad and bread were ok not great.Thank you for taking the time to post your review. I am disappointed to hear about the service you received. You definitely did not get the true Johnny's experience and I want to apologize for that. I have shared your review with management to use as a training/learning opportunity. I do hope you will be willing to give us another try, Thank you.

My fathers in hospice and he still loves some great food so this is where I go to get him food. The staff has been very good here in keeping my father supplied with great lunches. Today heâs getting a bacon and Swiss burger for a change. He usually gets French dip or prime rib.Itâs all good here.

Slow inattentive service. All steaks ordered medium. All steaks served medium well to well done. Server offered to redo all steaks. We did ask for one to be redone, original was taken away and the replacement finally reappeared 30 minutes later. At that point we just boxed it up. The check was reduced, but free would have been too much for this trip here. We won't be back

Visited again last week to devour lunch with wife and three year old granddaughter. My wife had beef stroganoff which she described as very good, my granddaughter had the kids mac and cheese while i had the steak medallions. My wife and granddaughter found the servings to be too big for them and had another meal with some of the left overs. My granddaughter had included a side of mashed potatoes which I would up eating as an accompaniment to my steak and salad. The steak was cooked to perfection. Our waitress provided just the right amount of service, especially to our granddaughter.

Had a horrible experience at the new Plaza III the day before, so we tried this restaurant. It was FANTASTIC! Expensive, like Plaza III, but service was phenomenal and the food, absolutely delicious!! I really mean everything, every detail of the presentation and taste of the food was awesome. First class all the way!! Plaza III needs to take serious notes from J Gilbert's!
