This is the first time we've been to Outback in a long time and now I remember why. The only thing we got that was worth the money was the iced tea and the kookaburra wings. The rest of the food was lukewarm. The so called "loaded" baked potato had a very small amount of butter and sour cream with a few small pieces of bacon. My wife's broccoli and cheese was mostly broccoli with very little cheese. By the time the server finally returned with more, the broccoli was cold and not worth eating. Overall a disappointing meal, particularly in view of the price. I've had far better meals for less money. Then, the server misplaces my credit card and it was found on the floor! The manager did give me a card for a free blooming onion which I gave to a family waiting to be seated. Since I have no plans of returning to the this restaurant I couldn't see letting it go to waste

This was my first visit. Food was average. I had the special - steak Marsala. Not impressed. The Caesar salad was shredded lettuce. It said â with anchoviesâ. The anchovies were apparently ground up into the dressing. The desserts we had were NOT homemade. We were disappointed. We were hoping the desserts matched the ambience of the Italian feel. Very pricey dessert for something you can pull out of the grocers freezer. Our waitress, Rebecca, was absolutely fabulous. Personable and efficient. She was continually checking on our large group. The restaurant is attractive and Iâll give them another chance. Iâll avoid dessert though unless the menu changes and it says âhomemadeâ.

The food here is excellent. They offer a fantastic salad bar. The pictures of Evansville from years past are interesting but the carpet, walks, and bar area could use a deep cleaning and an updating. Our servers were top notch. We will return again in the future.

The lunch combos here are really, really good! We each had the crispy chicken sandwich and one with a salad and one with French onion soup. The sandwiches are a little smaller than the "normal" size, but more than enough. The combo comes with a little container of their chips that have bacon bits and a cheese drizzled over them. Very good! Price was reasonable, the server and hostess were friendly. We will be back!
