Reviews on Steakhouse food in Columbus, Georgia, United States. This bustling riverfront town offers good old-fashioned Southern hospitality, old-world charm and a treasure trove of discoveries for Civil War buffs. To really get the feel of another era, stroll through the National Historic District, a 28-block stretch of restored Victorian homes, gardens and gazebos, and tour the house museums in Heritage Corner. Situated on the Chattahoochee River, Columbus offers a mixture of old and new with the lovely 12-mile Columbus Riverwalk, which includes the Chattahoochee Promenade, a walking tour of historical markers. A chief supplier for the Confederate Army, the town's Civil War history is on display in myriad museums and historic sites like Port Columbus Civil War Naval Center, which contains some of the Civil War's most important artifacts. But it's not all just war memorabilia: Columbus boasts a rich cultural side, with opera, symphony and a performing arts center. And for family fun, head to the Coca-Cola Space Museum for a simulated flight and a look at the first Coke machine used in outer space.

Called in wanted it to be delivered but it was going to take over a hour. Decided to pick up, still took a hour but definitely worth the wait. The hamburger steak was great. Some gravy on top would have been awesome! Thanks for your business and the five stars, Trelle90! We apologize for the hour wait that you experienced when coming to pick up your food, but are happy that you enjoyed the hamburger steak. I'll let the owner know about your long wait so we can hopefully work to get the wait times down. We appreciate your feedback and hope you'll order from us again soon!Sincerely,Steak-Out

We visited Mikata Japanese Steakhouse while in the area for my soldier’s graduation from Fort Benning. Mikata’s owner greeted us at the door, was pleasant and welcoming. While we could not be seated immediately, he kept us updated as to when we could expect to be seated. We had a party of five. The Hibachi chef was very talented, and made the experience fun. The steak was cooked to order, and the seafood was fresh.

Salad was good but everything else was below par. Steaks were very small and not as portrayed in ads. Bar service was abominable. 30 min wait for a martini and a margarita. Apparently the bartender doubles as a server and gives preference to those who tip her I would think the restaurant would pay more attention to their prime profit center.

From shrimp and grits to great steaks and everything in between. This place has reinvented classic food and made it even better. The steak melts in your mouth and the green beans and swoon worthy. The cheese bread appetizer is a flavor burst and the peanut butter pie is out of this world.

A bit disappointed. Veterans day! Two new military members on their way to their 1st duty base. Stopped for dinner, denied a military discount and had an annoying waitress who wasn't worth the hassle. Luckily will not be returning to this specific location. Again, it's Veterans Day and other TR locations always offer a military discount.

Wonderful out of the way steakhouse. High quality steaks perfectly prepared, very nice choice of sides. They do a ribeye, NY Strip, and a 10 ounce filet. Some of the best steaks we’ve ever had! A really nice treat.
