The idea of cooking your own steak to perfection at your own table sounds intriguing... in theory. In practice, it is messy, and a little unpleasant. I ordered the 6 oz siroloin, which was served as advertised on a "hot lava stone" at more than 700 degrees F. The steak sits on this stone the entire time you are eating it, sizzling, popping, and spraying juice and grease in all directions. I wound up with stains on my white shirt. (Diner beware, don't wear anything nice to this place!) Also, the continuously billowing smoke seared my eyes, and I left smelling like a fire. The steak cooks continuously and is eaten directly off of the hot stone. The first few bites were just as I like my steak prepared - medium rare. However, despite eating as quickly as possible, the last few bites were more than well done. The restaurant floor was so slick with meat grease that I needed to be careful not to fall while walking (or sliding) on it. The sides were unremarkable. The service was prompt, but our waiter was a little too casual and informal. The prices were steep for the service and overall quality of the dining experience. I would not recommend this place, but if you insist on trying it for yourself, make a reservation. We dined in between the lunch and dinner crowds, and the wait was not long. However, by the time we left, the line was out the door.

First thing is they honor Golden Buckeye cards. The staff was friendly and professional. I really like the salad bar. It was fresh, full and had a great variety. We were there right at the changeover from breakfast to lunch. Some of the lunch items could have been a little hotter. Overall though, I was satisfied with what I had. It is a place I would definitely return to if I was in the area.

My husbandâs pricey teriyaki steak was clearly sub par beef. It was tough and mediocre. The soup that accompanied it was mostly just plain broth. My sushi was mediocre. The tempura on my sushi wasnât crisp. It was soft. The Rock Shrimp was soggy. There were gnats flying around. And the sushi fish at the sushi bar was âprecutâ and wrapped in individual Plastic wrap for each serving. Iâll be going back to Songâs Sushi for quality sushi from now on.

We rarely eat at chain restaurants while on vacation....but we stopped at this one and it was great. I wished i remembered the bartenders name....she was great....steaks perfectly cooked and service spot on....only disappointment was strawberry shortcake...it was stale....but otherwise a great meal.

We really enjoy Flemings and visit frequently. However on this visit the steak on the Filet Benedict seemed to be a little tough and chewy and not up to what we have had in the past. The dish was not flooded with Hollandaise Sauce either, more of a light drizzle. Madison R. was not familiar with the luncheon drinks prices and I had to ask her to redo our check. I still think I was overcharged for our Bloody Marys.

Texas Roadhouse is a reliable choice for us when weâre on the road. They serve consistently good food in a friendly atmosphere, and the âearly dineâ special is quite a value. These restaurants are always crowded, for good reason.
