1st time Ive been here and I was really impressed, watched the rugby league Melbourne Storm vs Western Tigers and was very surprised how well getting in and to our seats, food and drink service was fantastic and didn't have much of a wait. The ground was clean, had a great view of the whole match. Once again very impressed.

O'Brien Icehouse is Australia’s largest and most respected ice arena. Nestled in Melbourne’s Docklands in amongst the city’s other greatest sporting and cultural icons, it has become one of Australia’s strongest symbols of sportsmanship and excellence. O'Brien Icehouse is a world-class facility, attracting some of the greatest sports people from around Australia to train and compete in our Olympic-standard arena. Our commitment to the enjoyment of our visitors has lead us to be known as one of the city’s favourite destinations for families, friends and organisations alike. We are dedicated to creating extraordinary experiences for every person who enters our doors, regardless of age or skill-level, and with the help of the Olympic Winter Institute of Australia, O'Brien Icehouse will continue to be the beating heart of ice sports in Australia.
My son and I go skating at O'Brien Icehouse once or twice a week. He is taking ice hockey lessons, and we also enjoy the public skating, and freestyle skate lessons. It's always good fun, and the staff are very friendly, expert, and helpful.
