Chapman's probably has the most extensive and amazing private gem and mineral collections in the country. "Buzz" Chapman traveled the world collecting for his own collection and for his store. An incredible collection in one place that is easy to view. Also a great store. If you like rocks, gems and minerals, you need to stop at Chapman's.

This time I didn’t go inside due to COVID-19. A long time ago, I bought a brick in memory of my son, which is set in the courtyard of the museum. I can see it from the sidewalk. The building is one of the original Carnegie Libraries (the name is chiseled into the rock above the front doorway)
