Stumbled in here after a grueling hike to the top of the ruins and were desperate for a drink. Killer Pisco sours in a fun, relaxing environment. Remember Pisco sours take something like 10-15 minutes to make, so order a beer while you wait! The tequemos (tacquitos) with guacamole are out of this world!!!Went back for dinner which was lame. Had a fried Cuya (guinea pig) which looked and tasted like a rat cooked too long over an open fire. Potatoes on the plate were virtually raw. So, I highly recommend this place for a snack and a drink for sure, but go somewhere else for dinner.
We went to this restaurant after an awesome but tiring day of hiking up the Macchu Picchu hill. Had dinner at this place and it was exactly what we needed! A mixture of Italian and fast food, delicious, freshly-made with love and at a better price than the restaurants on the main square of Ollantaytambo, as the name "Baratie" suggests. We had spaguetti bolognese and a pizza, which they were so nice to accompany with garlic bread. It was delicious and filling. Definitely restored our hungry bodies after a long day. Also has wifi, which came in very handy.

On main square and open for an early supper (many are shut until 1830). Main restaurant upstairs was empty so no one could hear our kids playing with the games on the comfy sofas at end.Sole waiter/bar man was cheerful chappie. We had drinks and appetisers. Juices and happy hour cocktails were good with frozen lemon juice well liked by kids. Food was adequate but not amazing. Bruschetta was cheese on toast? Alpaca carpaccio needed less balsamic and some olive oil. Wontons with big pile of guacamole went down well as did the onion rings. Marked down on service as got order wrong, seems like a common local problem to bring more than ordered!Unfortunately WiFi only works in half of restaurant near the stairs away from the sofas.

Restaurant just behind our hotel (terrazas del inca) Food was ok, good portion. Staffs very friendly. There was an additional SERVICE charge which was NOT stated, which I think was inappropriate. Ask the staff, they can't even explain.

The museo del cuy-Restaurant Cultural was undoubtedly the best option in Ollantaytambo. I was. To dinner every day I was there, and in dishes we ordered you could see the expert hands and affection. Good portions and quick preparation. You must visit this place, you will love it.
