We stopped for lunch on our way through Cortez. The service was very good, the meal arrived quickly. I ordered a chili rellano, it was flavorful and not too hot, full of cheese. My husband had a chile verde burrito. It was good although we prefer the sauce made with chilis rather than tomatillos. The beans were excellent.

Their online menu and in store do not jive. The food might be better off the Sysco truck! My chicken fried steak looked and tasted frozen. My wifeâs artichoke dip may have had one leaf. The presentation is less than Taco Bell. Never again!

We ate at Tequila's Mexican Restaurant on advice from a local who said it was her favorite Mexican restaurant in Cortez. We were not disappointed. Though the place was busy on a Saturday evening, we were seated promptly in a small quiet booth; the servers were attentive before and during our meal. I ordered the Tequila's Special which had shrimp in a green chili sauce and it was delicious, tasting more flavorful than similar dishes in my home state of Wisconsin. I definitely recommend this restaurant.

Come check us out at Destination Grill (the restaurant formerly known as Koko's). We are a comfortable family restaurant that celebrates the local southwestern cuisine while incorporating culinary influence from all over the world. Our newly remodeled din
Visiting from England, confused by the menu , ended up paying for salads we thought were free ! They put no $ sighs so as to confuse I think. The portion was small and the service was average.Hi Micheal B! I am sorry about the confusion with the salads, we certainly don't want to confuse anyone or "trick" anyone into a salad! Thank you for pointing that out, when we review and revise our menu again here soon, we will try to make that more obvious. Again, thank you for mentioning that!

We are from the US Mexico border region so sometimes Mexican food in other parts of the country is very Americanized and not quite up to par. These fajitas were amazing though and came as a portion for two. The guacamole was also great.

This place is great! Clean and modern, all the staff is really helpful and kind. Super friendly environment! I was lucky to have breakfast here, I can imagine that lunch and dinner are crazy busy. I had the breakfast quesadilla. It was way better than expected. I thought it would be this over cheesed greasy mess. It was not. It was loaded with the ingredients and just the right amount of cheese. A little heat, but totally tolerable. I ordered one to-go ââï¸... Great food over all, with dietary restrictive options. Highly recommended!

Arrived to Cortez later then planned. After checking onto our hotel, we headed here for a late dinner. Wow, what a great choice! The menu is full of choices and the food is outstanding! Pricing is reasonable for the large portions. Service was friendly and efficient. Just a great Mexican restaurant!
