Three of us stopped by for a drink and stayed for lunch. Food was extremely good, well presented and plentiful - easily catering for two carnivores and a vegetarian. Staff were really friendly and helpful. We sat on the terrace and could, if we wanted, watch the football on the large screen TV. Really enjoyed the meal, would definitely visit again.
Authentic, quality Venezuelan food. Small and friendly with the owner on hand. Best Cachapas on the island!

Yes, the restaurant is located in a hotel and yes, it may not look like a top Michelin starred venue, but the steaks are world-class, prepared personally by the enthiusiastic owner Jose and his wife. They probably use their hearts and souls to spice them up! Jose, thank You so much for all Your passion to life and honesty. The world is a better place with people like You around!

LowRider is a fabulous new restaurant in Candaleria. Not only is it situated with a fantastic view of the beach front but it has a great ambiance and a tasty selection of food. The menu is both ample and mouthwatering and the presentation of the food is very original and classy. The chefs do an outstanding job with the dishes. The salads, for example, are a must and they have added ingredients to make them even more tempting. The staff are really welcoming and friendly and the restaurant is extremely clean with a touch of an "American diner". A must, if you want a great dining experience. Really recommendable..
Fronteras by steve González It is a place to enjoy good food in a wonderful atmosphere facing the sea, all our dishes are designed to share, our chef proposes fusion of different styles from different countries to offer a unique experience.

Unpretentious, simple fare which was served in a friendly, low key manner. Arepas were good and the other things we saw people eat at neighbouring tables also looked good. Cheap prices.
