What a lovely walk through a woodland trail from the Glenmore visitor centre along the Revoan Pass the the Green Loch. We met some local people who told us that the water colour is because the fairies wash their socks in the water in the evening. Magical place.

I have cycled on sections of the Speyside Way which is excellent. The signposting is great and the surfaces well maintained and good for cycling. The countryside is stunning.

Easy to access close to the village centre with great views and lucky enough to see it with a piper with the autumn colours in full flow.

Nightmare journey caused by Scotrail delays and changes to carriages meant our first class seats were lost. Not happy but what could not be faulted was the customer service at the station provided by an empathetic and helpful lady whose name I have forgotten otherwise I'd share but you know who you are helping me on the 1027 to Edinburgh (finally getting the 1123)

Worth a visit if you're in Aviemore. Tucked away behind the fire station and sheltered by bungalows. Some visitors beat you to the spot by a few thousand years.
