You may have all heard that everything is bigger in Texas. Well, Dallas does its best to fulfill that promise. You'll find several museums with vast art collections and fascinating specialty museums like The Sixth Floor Museum/Texas School Book Depository, which, though small in size, offers an immense amount of information about the assassination of John F. Kennedy. And of course, visit a local steakhouse for a terrific (and enormous) meal.

Visit Wild Bill's Western Store and give them a Texas "Howdy" Wild Bill always says, "A stranger is just a friend you haven't met yet." So come on in and meet your new friends.
The store is really well stocked and has some of the finest western wear. The prices are comparable with the quality and craftsmanship of the boots and hats. You can find some weekend cowboy items but the store is more geared to the "real cowboy" and items that will last generations.

I highly recommend working your way to the Dallas Farmers Market on the weekend, The Shed is an open air market with pop-up vendors of all kinds, from delicious food and fresh juice like Mai Eats, to tasty vegan dishes, even unique snacks like flavored pickles, taro chips and pudding! I enjoy shopping the one of a kind crafts and jewelry shops as well. Trust me, no matter where you stop you can't go wrong, and the customer service is the best part! So happy, and full of energy. I'm told it's the biggest farmers market in Texas! Two thumbs way up!
