Things to do in San Pedro Sula
To crave for some seafood after my previously preferred Peruvian Restaurant changed Administration proved challenging... Not many options present for the tasteful budget eater... Long story short, after digging around a bit on FB (favorite resource for online presence in Honduras) we came across Mar Azul, with good reviews so we tried it. Not a fancy cuisine, however taste is good, generously served, one of the best services I've had in Honduras... Our Mixed seafood plate included lobster tails, conch, fish and shrimp. Ambience wise, simple, yet cozy, not as noisy as the regular places you find around, for us, a big plus.In brief, well worth it... the 4 of us struggled a bit to finish our 3 plates... Generous sized portions, reasonable price GREAT SERVICE!!!!!
We had as an appetizer the crab tequenos which were excellent, followed by a Fish Meuniere with Shrimp, delicious. Portions as are very generous. The waitress was very nice, service was good. Prices are moderate.

Mono's Grill does not serve monkey, despite its name. It does serve many seafood choices with most centered on shrimp. My wife and I shared the large bowl of seafood soup which comes with crab leg in it. They gave no means of cracking the leg so bring your multi-tool or a hammer. We also shared shrimp parole which was nicely done. The price is about right for the serving size and quality but it has plain tables with ordering at the counter. The food is prepared and then served.

They have good parking lot, good service and the prices are very competitive. The "ceviches" were absolutely great!! The shrimp dishes are pretty good too. If you are a seafood lover you should definitely come to this place.

Best seafood, best prices in town. Serving seafood and steaks.
It had an extensive menu. A lot of different seafood prepared in different ways. The server was very attentive and anticipated our needs. My shrimp ceviche was excellent. The desert menu only had vanilla ice cream or lemon pie.

I had a business lunch and we had the most awesome "mariscada al gusto" which means mixed seafood to taste (we had it scampi style), from shrimps, fish, clams, and snail!! Very tasty and light. Their custard pie was delicious. Would visit again for sure!
The best sea food restaurant in San Pedro Sula, Caribbean style, Garifuna influenced, the Conch Soup is a must or the Curiles' ceviche, the Mariscadas are a great value and the Caribbean King Crab is the king of flavor also....a must. Great for any occasion and tuesdays and wednesdays is half price in all the menu; even greater value!!
