Reviews on Seafood food in Pucon, Chile. Deep in the Patagonian Andes, Pucon is a picture perfect town accessed by plane in summer or by a nine-hour drive or train ride from Santiago. A great base for adventure vacations, Pucon is crammed with visitors during summer months December, January and February. Watch molten magma ooze down Mount Villarrica, hop between hot and cold thermal pools at Termas Geometricas or take the reigns of Criollo horses to explore the Andes on horseback. For other expeditions, rent a car or mountain bike.

We first dropped by just for a Pisco Sour in the early evening of our arrival day, a little frazzled by a lengthier drive than expected, on a hot midsummer day in peak season. It was the first bar we passed, almost opposite the town's camp-site, but what a happy chance that was. From the roadside there is little indication of the lovely terrace seating area, dappled in shade, overlooking the informal lawn and the lake. There is cool, laid-back music and exceptional, friendly service. Both restaurants and the bar open onto the terrace area. We returned for lunch the next day - two beautifully prepared salads and excellent wine on the terrace, then again for aperitifs in the early evening. Later we returned for two more Pisco Sours (with ginger and mint), because we had enjoyed the place so much. By then the restaurant was almost full with cheery diners. One of our favourite locations in South America.P.S. The bathrooms were as immaculate and as well cared for as in a top hotel.

After a long rafting day I went to viva Perù with 2 friends. The place is really cool, in the summer you can ask for a table Outside and is very nice. We tried their famous ceviche and we were really satisfied, is simply delicious. They make ceviche in three different way, but the classic is my favourite. As main dishes they make a lot of fusion stuff (Peruvian- Chinese cousine), sometimes the combination are ok, sometimes not. The service is simple but not perfect and they have very good Chilean wine (ask for the card). Really recommended only for the ceviche.

Propped on the edge of a steep cliff, this stunning Bauhaus hotel is a destination. The restaurant is open to the public, so we were able to dine with a view of the finest - modern architecture on one side and sunset over the lake on the other! We are so happy to hear that you enjoyed your dining experience at the Restaurant Parque Antumalal. We agree that the location is simply stunning and makes fabulous food feel even more special!

We went for lunch with extended family (10 people). The place is nice, and located in downtown Pucon. Food was very good. The âChupesâ of Jaiba (crab) and Centolla were great. The other dishes too. Service was also very good. Friendly staff who did their best to make sure we had a good time. While this area of Chile is not known for seafood (meat rules here, either lamb or beef) if you want seafood near Pucon, Panguipulli or Villarrica this is the place to go.

Cozy place off the main strip in pucon but gets very full. On a Thursday night, all but 2 tables were reserved. The merlusa and cangrio dishes were well prepared and delicious. Portions are generous so make sure to come with an appetite.
