Things to do in Marion
Heading to the beach or going for a drive, look out for the Australian Fish Shop it's been there a long time serving up the best fish and chips around. The ultimate taste experience of classic fish and chips, refreshing salads, burgers and snacks, made fr
For fish and chips, I recommend this place. Chips are crunchy, fish are fresh, service is fast and friendly. I like the little guides they have taped to the counter e.g. how long does each portion of chips take to cook - it sets expectations really well and they provide some seats for those waiting for their food to be prepared.

South Australia is known for its fresh seafood. Fanatics from all around the world come here to get a taste of some good old "Aussie Favourite". Well, we keep that tradition high. Sammys on The Marina brings to you some of the best SA seafood that you'll
Sammyâs is situated on the waterâs edge with huge glass walls affording a great view. However, on the day that we visited for a girlâs lunch, the restaurant was close to empty. We had our choice of tables and chose one next to the glass wall. Service was quick and unobtrusive, and genuinely friendly despite one of our party being unexpectedly and unavoidably delayed. My friend and I shared a mixed entree for 2 as we wanted a variety of seafoods followed by a seafood pasta main to share. Our other friend ordered a seafood main. The plan was to follow this with dessert and coffee. However, by the time we got through our entree of raw oysters on the half shell, fresh prawns, salt & pepper squid, and fried white bait, and split the very tasty pasta, we had to give up the idea of dessert.Next time weâll skip the pasta and go straight from the entree to desserts!Despite our misgivings on encountering a rather empty restaurant, we were very pleased with the quality and freshness of the seafood. Thanks for a lovely lunch!Dear Secret_Possum,Thank you so much for sparing your time to write us this positive feedback about your recent experience. We pride ourselves for our quality food we offer as we use the best of the local catch seafood. We are glad that you liked the meal, we have done some new addition to our summer menu looking at the palate of our esteemed guests and we are overwhelmed with the positive responses. We look forward to host you again soon.Regards,Yours Sincerely,The Management.

Absolutely lovely. Had the winter special, 3 courses for $35. Could not fault it. Lovely setting. Get there early to see the sunset. A little hidden gem.Hi Karen and Merv,Thank you for your wonderful review from all of us at Marino Rocks Restaurant. We have the most beautiful sun sets all year around but winter months sun sets before dinner time. September onward most dinners would enjoy it after 6pm .Summer months is the time for Alfresco dinning on our two open balconies under the main roof with beautiful sun sets. Thanks again for your review, most of our guests are our regulars but very few shows their appreciation with a review. We came here 6 years ago and it was amazing. Today we ordered natural and Kilpatrick. The natural were great. However the Kilpatrick were disgusting. There was a really thick and sour sauce that beared no resemblance to worchestshire. Also the oysters under this sauce were ridiculously tiny. Hi Michelle I, Thank you for taking the time to review Oyster Bar Holdfastshores and also welcome back! We are pleased to hear that you enjoyed your natural oysters however are disappointed to hear your feedback on our Kilpatrick oysters. I have passed on your feedback to our kitchen and management team who will use your comments to improve product and quality control. All feedback, positive and constructive, goes towards our staff training and should you return to us again I am confident that you will not be disappointed.

A Proud family own restaurant which has been started because of the love of South Australia and its produce. We have always felt that SA has the best seafood, diary and unique wines in Australia if not the world. The restaurant has a wide selection of int

Cardone's Seafood & Grill is an award winning restaurant located on historic Jetty Road at Glenelg. Specialising in fresh local Seafood, it also has plenty of variety of meat dishes, pasta, vegetarian and gluten free options. Open 7 days for lunch & dinne
Booked online and missed call bk from owner. Rang back was told it was booked but would fit us in outside. We chose the seafood platter based on special occasion and pictures seen. The platter was a single plate, the lobster was 2 tiny finger strips and with a thick sauce, their wasn't alot for the $65per head! Drinks were expensive but staff were friendly.Hi Barbara L,Thank you for your feedback. We are sorry that you did not enjoy your Seafood Platter on your recent visit to our restaurant. We welcome all feedback and have taken your comments on board. Our Seafood Platter is our most popular dish on the menu, and we receive so much wonderful feedback on it so it saddens us to hear you did not enjoy it on this occasion. We source mainly local Australian Seafood for the platter which has the following quantities on it; 10 pieces of Australian Calamari 4 Australian Prawns 4 Scallops 2 Fillets of SA Garfish 1 Whole Soft Shell Crab2 Fillets of NT Barramundi 1 Rock Lobster Tail (not advertised as Crayfish) Plus your choice of potatoes or fries and garden salad, accompanying sauces & lemon We think that the price of local fresh seafood, and the quantities on the platter absolutely justifies the price of $65.00 per person. Thank you again for your feedback, and we sincerely hope that you come back and try something else next time you are in Glenelg. Many thanks,Nick CardoneOwnerCardone's Seafood & Grill
