My family travels to this part of Slovenia every summer for a couple of weeks, and we make sure to eat here at least twice over our stay. They have a wood burning oven for that great smokiness, fresh toppings, crispy crust and you must try the pizza with an egg on top.
menu on the web page suggested interesting variety of food, but it ended up being like all others. don't get me wrong, the food is good and the atmosphere nice, but I gues we expected it not to be as many similar restaurants in the city.

Went there and throughout enjoyed the beautiful view of the lake Drava. Service was quick and friendly. The food was reasonable priced and really tasty. We'll be back!!!
We followed TA's recommendations to come here, and are so glad we did! This place isn't much to look at from the outside, but it's a real find. The lunch menu is great: there's a selection of several four-course set menus, each costing under â¬10 (or you can eat à la carte). The portions are large (the soup arrived in tureens, from which you ladled as much as you wanted) and all the dishes were perfectly prepared. We were too full to finish the dessert. Our waiter, Zan, was friendly and spoke some English, so we had a thoroughly pleasant experience. We will definitely come here again if we get the chance!

Another year another visit sunny Maribor and my favourite restaurant NOVI SVET.It is a great achievement to maintain such consistently high standards in their cooking and I am running out of superlatives to describe the dishes that emerge from the kitchen at NOVI SVET.The service is friendly and attentive without being intrusive and it is testament to the environment that this business retains their staff. It is really nice to see same faces and get to know them a little.

The menu is Italian style, but you will find several enhancements in the variations and taste which are not common. There is a seafood choice and the meat side also offers nice variations, in addition to the pizza & pasta part.We enjoyed nice starter drinks and the food which was good and served quickly.
