Our resturante is inspired by a variety of traditional food from the area, and our location allows us to fresh seafood from the area. We have recently added Chinese cuisine to our menu and created a relaxing environment to enjoy the food. Come enjoy our c
Pretty location and good food with attentive service. Nearby the public launch but not right on it. We've enjoyed big breakfasts and lunch here watching the traffic on the river. It's nice to be away from the hectic main street!
Local limpio.

The service as great , the timely delivery of meal was an excellent surprise not to say the finger licking experience of the cultural delicacy of the Garifuna culture that you cannot find any place else.Looking down toward the Barrique as a plus as well as the passsers by. I enjoyed every moment of the Tropical breezes as we sat with our fresh cold coconut water looking down towards the carribean Sea.What a treat as well as a special surprise. away from the middle of the hustle of town.the location of Cafe Gotay allows fot the oppurtunity to get to see the =community of La Buga Livingston that you would other wise not see. must see , must go must eat. Restaurante Gotay VISTA DEL RIO A MUST VISIT ALSO VISITED BY MANY DIGNITARIES DIFFERENT THAN THE CAFE LOCATED IN MELINDA BY THE SAME OWNERS.www.garifunadish.blogspot.comFreda Sideroff [email protected]

We were starving and jumped at the chance to sit outside at this cute looking restaurant. We thought this place was a bit expensive for what we received. I had the fried whole fish which came with rice and a cabbage & tomato type salad. The plate was attractive enough. This fish was partially undercooked. There were four of us...and we all agreed the place was average.

I love to try local flair and cuisine and Rachon Mary is an institution in RÃo Dulce for Tapado, a regional seafood specialty soup made with a coconut milk base and served with shrimp, crab, and fish. It's not cheap, almost US$20. It's also not that great. I've found far better food for far less cost. I would recommend this restaurant because of the setting, but urge travelers not to set their sights too high. The food was just ok, not at all congruent with the high costs of the food.

In my opinion, if Rosita's is not on the list for your culinary experience while in Rio Dulce, you are doing your party a disservice. Before and during my trip I asked who had the best "Tapado" in Rio Dulce. The unanimous answer was Rosita's! My family and I walked from Las Viñas Hotel in the evening and came to the restaurant after walking through the lit boardwalks in the bayou. Reminded me of some restaurants in Baton Rouge, LA and Savannah, GA. Now the food... The best Tapado I have had in Guatemala. The caldo and seafood were perfectly cooked. My family had shrimp and other seafood and enjoyed every bit of it. Go and Enjoy
