Took my daughter here during our Summer holiday and once again not disappointed.I cannot believe the 3 1/2 rating the service and quality of the food is excellent. I can only think the lack of English speaking puts people off - well simple response you are in Spain!!The menu is in Spanish and English so that reduces this language barrier, honestly just point and look forward to superb fish food. The staff are so polite and attentive, you will not be disappointed.I cannot recommend this restaurant enough it is superb!

Sitting outside in the sun, over looking the beach was lovely. The food was good, we all enjoyed our various fish dishes. The waiters were interesting to watch as they buzzed around the tables and seemed to be yelling at each other.

More understated than La Tana or Miramar, and with arguably a less attractive setting, for us this restaurant was unbeatable (and considerably cheaper). Service was impeccable, cuisine the best we found (esp if you accepted their suggestions for fish), staff really friendly: nothing was too much trouble. No little niggles about charging for bread; best of all, an excellent house cava for less than â¬11 a bottle.

A restaurant specializing in rices and fry. It is a great terrace with Cartagena Harbor and sea sights. You can enjoy seeing every kind of vessels sailing into and out the harbor, since the smallest boats from the sailing school to the largest cruise ship
This great restaurant is located on the quayside in the South West corner of Cartagena harbour. We visited with friends for the first time today. Parking was a bit of a nightmare - there is a small car park and parking on the approach road, but on a very warm (22C) and sunny Sunday in January, this popular restaurant was always going to be busy and, to make matters worse, someone parked in the middle of the road and wandered off, leaving chaos on the approach road...We anticipated it would be busy, so we got there at 1.20pm and we're able to book a table - the Spanish don't start thinking about lunch until after 2pm - and went for a walk along the quayside for half an hour and returned around ten to two. We had a table on the terrace which affords a view of the entrance to the harbour, the marinas and surrounding hills - a truly beautiful view. The downside of this is that in Spain they are allowed to smoke on the terrace- and they all do - but with a good breeze it wasn't too bad. Other reviews of this place have criticised the service and it has to be said it was a little slow.... but in the time we've lived in Spain we've rarely had service much faster and besides, we reckoned there were 250 to 300 covers in the restaurant and it was insanely busy - so all things taken into consideration it wasn't too bad. Between the four of us we had steamed mussels and grilled squid to start, then calamari, fried anchovies and codfish balls with garlic mayonnaise (which was VERY garlicky- just how we like it, but not for everyone!) followed by a couple of puddings - the hot chocolate brownie was superb - and four coffees. With two bottles of wine the meal came to â¬71 which we thought was very reasonable. The food was very good - and though a little slow, the waiters were good humoured. You will need to order in Spanish. A great restaurant in a stunning location. We will go back!

Unique place in the area for foodies and breaking traditions we put on the table the most innovative and contemporary cuisine . come quickly!!
While this restaurant was on the pricey side for Cartagena, the food was worth it. We had a three course meal there and every dish was exquisite - I would recommend the sardines for starter especially. The only slight disappointment was that they'd sold out of the scallops for main! My husband had the octopus for main and absolutely loved it.They have a superb selection of deserts as well - something for everyone. There is a menu in English so you know what you're getting, I speak very very basic Spanish and we had Google Translate so we managed just fine!

Found this lovely little fish resteraunt at the port in Cartegena which was teeming with local Spanish people... Always a good sign. The food was fresh and simply but excellently cooked and served. Not expensive and a real treat. If you're in the area you must visit.

Everything was just perfect, the special fish salad, the octopus (I haven't tried better), the fish, clams and vegetables. Oscar and all the others were so nice, I never forget this place. Even the second evening there were flamenco recital outside the restaurant and they bring additional chairs and tables. We received also gifts to try from the specialties of the restaurant. No words, just eat...
