Reviews on Seafood food in Barcelona, Province of Barcelona, Spain. Nestled between the Mediterranean coast and the colossal Montserrat, Barcelona's deep historical roots stretch through the ruins dotting the city and the local culture and Catalan language. You'll feel you're traveling through time, whether you're watching popular events such as the colles castelleres (human pyramids) and sardanes dances, or walking narrow, maze-like streets and broader boulevards. Stroll from the Gothic Quarter through Passeig de Gracia, where Roman ruins, Gothic cathedrals, and remnants of the Spanish Golden Age and the Civil War stand side by side with surreal and modernist structures by Gaudí and Domènech i Montaner. Stop at any of the numerous restaurant terraces and enjoy traditional calçots and botifarra sausages, flavor-packed tapas, and fresh seafood. At day's end, treat yourself to a refreshing cocktail in one of the many Chirringuitos (beach bars) along the golden beaches embracing the sea.

Sorry, we wanted to like this casual tapas restaurant with the tacky interior, but couldn't. The food was poor to average with the garlic shrimp being okay. The paella wasn't awful, but it wasn't good. Lastly, the cleanliness of the kitchen left me uneasy.

Cozy mediterranean restaurant in the heart of Barceloneta, at 200mt from the beach. We propose only seasonal and fresh products, mixing our Sardinian heart with catalan and spanish food. We deliver from the best markets and traditional food shops, choosin
Tiny little restaurant specialising in sharing seafood tapas. Portions are generous and the seafood extremely fresh. Tuna tataki was delicious and the mackerel on crushed potato a must try (Spanish mackerel was really soft and tender). Grilled sardines was quite delicate as well. Prices very very reasonable.

Great experience in this small restaurant near the beach. Real mom and pop atmosphere with authentic cooking. They take you up to the counter to go over and show the numerous plates of the day. Very friendly staff. I broke a water bottle by accident, so sorry, no problem. We had a cold potato and crab salad dish, snails and tuna. Good wine recommendations. All tasty and good. Real great experience. Would definitely go back.

A modern European and Belgian cuisine made from the best Belgian quality products without forgetting our belgian classic dishes as 'moules-frites', tomate crevettes, beef stew and many other cravings
One of my favourite restaurants I visited while in Barcelona! There is something for everyone at this fabulous bistro. The service is good , the meals are amazing, the wine list is affordable and has a lot of variety. There are a few vegetarian options on the menu but mostly non-vegetarian. The restaurant itself is bright and clean and very modern. The tables are not very close together which lends itself to a more intimate, quieter venue for the perfect meal. For an evening out, this would be a favourite of mine if I lived in Barcelona. Dinner for two with a bottle of wine about C$100

This is my favourite restaurant in Barcelona! The staff are so informative and friendly; recommending wine and food pairings and being flexible in serving. We opted to share a variety of dishes tapas style, and every dish was delicious. Our favourites were the beef tartare, scallops and mackerel with burrata. It was so good we went back twice in one trip! I canât recommend enough....Iâll be back every time I visit barcelona.

Arros i Peix és un innovador restaurant, una impressionant parada de peix i marisc fresc crida l'atenció des de fora i us convida a entrar, podreu mirar i triar el que us vingui més de gust, mentre us preneu una copa de cava. Per nosaltres el més importan
We found this seafood restaurant online. While the food was decent and the ambience was lively, the service made the experience quite frustrating. The restaurant had only two servers for the entire place, so it was impossible to get their attention. We ordered three dishes, and they served us a wrong dish by accident. Mistakenly thinking it was the dish that we had ordered, we had a few bites of it. However after they served us our order, we realised their mistake and brought it up with the waiter. Usually, when restaurants make such an error, they offer customers the dish gratis. However, in this case, the waiter picked up the half eaten dish and took it away, which struck us as quite bizarre. The evening got even weirder. As we ate our meal, we became aware that every customer who walked into the restaurant received a glass of âCava.â However we had not been given or offered anything. When we asked our waiter whether there was a celebration of sorts, he realised his blunder and tried to cover it up by saying that our table would get the âCavaâ with dessert. We found this experience disrespectful, which is why we refused the dessert and the Cava, crossed the road and had our dessert at the rooftop Skybar of the Grand Hotel.Thank you for reviewing us. We are sorry to hear that you are not happy with your experience at Arros i Peix. We apologize if you were not offered the cava glass at the beginning as we normally offer it to all of our guests. When you made us aware of this problem we offered you the free cava glass with dessert to try and compensate for that (we did not offer it along with your seafood because usually cava here is drank either with the aperitifs or with the desserts). As for the plate you did not ask for, it is taken away so that there are no unnecessary items taking space on your table (just like any empty plates or glasses would be taken away too). We surely did not mean to offend you by doing that. In any case we will note of all your comments which will be taken as an opportunity to improve our service. Best regards from all of us.
