Traditional Thai food was very nice and the waitresses were always very friendly.
For an Australian the beer was rather warm, which was unfortunate.
I stayed at the resort where the restaurant is and found it to be clean and well kept for a 2 star.
Staff were always friendly and ready to assist if things go wrong..like my hotwater didn't work on the second morning....fixed right away.
My only beef was that sound travels very easily and getting woken up very early in the morning by other guests was rather annoying.
Overall would recommend both the resort and the restaurant.

The chef/ owner does amazing cheesecakes daily as well as mains dishes. This is a small, intimate cafe worth tracking down as it is not on the main street. Om, the owner has been cordon bleu trained.

That coffee shop have a great setting really local look
all wooden tables with rice field view , real coffee machine with a great barista will execute any of your request using only local coffee beans from the Mountain around .
Any cold drinks or the available with small snacks and liquors .
The setting is really nice and price are from the seventies...
If you pass through make a stop !

ที่ตั้งร้าน มาจากเมืองน่าน เข้าสู่อำเภอปัว จากถนนใหญ่สาย101 ขับผ่านป้ายยินดีต้อนรับสู่อำเภอปัว(ที่มี แมลงยักษ์เป็นโลโก้) เลี้ยวซ้ายเข้ามาทางร้านส้มตำยกครกเข้ามา หลังจากนั้นขับผ่านดินลูกรัง จะมองเห็นร้านอยู่ทางด้านขวาไกลๆ (เป็นคล้ายๆบ้าน) ร้านอยู่บนชั้น 2 อย่ากด google map นำทาง เพราะจะนำไปอีกที่ ร้านมีอาหารของกินเล่น เบเกอรี่ และเครื่องดื่มชา กาแฟ ชาเขียว น้ำปั่น ราคาไม่แพง สเต๊กแซลมอน น้ำจิ้มที่ใช้จิ้มผักสลัดและสเต๊กรสชาติอร่อย เหมือน homemade

Locals flock to this coffee shop for 3 main reasons (a) Awesome scenery dotted with padi fields,mountains and even water buffaloes (b)Tasty coffee at reasonable prices (c) Serene atmosphere.Sitting in the non air conditioned coffee shop which overlooks the beautiful scenery and sipping your ice Latte you can spend time relaxing and watching the world slowly going by.

The only place you can get good hot coffee in Pua, and it's the best i've had in the whole of Nan! Easily rivals coffee you find in Chiang Mai. They have lots of specialty drinks too but it's nothing youd want to be eating while on a diet! The baristas were trained in Australia and the girl at the counter is very sweet. Everything is very cheap too. 40 baht for a cappuccino as opposed to 120 baht in places like Pattaya.
One thing I found odd was the pricing. An espresso costs the same as a cappuccino (40 baht) but the double shot espresso is double price while double shot cappuccino is only 50. Also make sure you tell them what cup you want it in as most hot drinks are in the small one.
