Open a window on a wonderful meal with a spectacular view of the Montague River. Enjoy a traditional lobster supper, award winning seafood chowder, famous homemade desserts and Island hospitality at its finest. Recommended "Where To Eat In Canada" since 2000.
We spent three day on PEI, and this was our last night before taking the ferry over to Nova Scotia. It was a Saturday night and we didn't have a reservation. When we arrived around 6:30p they gladly accommodated us.
It was really nice that they had the upstairs open, as we didn't really want to dine outside. (It was a nice evening, but there was a chill in the air.)
Our service was outstanding . . . and meals even better. My husband & I were looking forward to some wonderful seafood and they definitely didn't disappoint.

There aren't any waitresses on roller skates but nonetheless they do deliver food right to your car window. Keep your headlights on or your flashers and they know you want service. Good cheap eats. Decent burger and fries. Not much for ambiance.

Our focus from day one has been healthy, locally produced and grown product for our pizzas. All of our meat is grown, produced and cured on Prince Edward Island, and holds no MSG or gluten. Our in house pizza sauce is made using fresh herbs, superior tomatoes, and spices providing an exciting and mysteriously tangy base for our unique hand tossed pizza pies.
They make some interesting combinations. I loved everything except they should give greater warnings that when they say spicy, they mean it.

Friendly, Quaint Diner feel.
Most menu Items have a Caribbean flare, I understand the new Chef is from that region.
No Fountain pop, but they do have a limited selection of bottled beer.
Great Breakfast here also:)
Nice restaurant to pop into when you're on that side of Montague.

This is a cafe, that is located right in the centre of town overlooking the beautiful Marina. Prices are great and fish cakes are fabulous! I've tried the seafood bubbly bake and the Penne pasta....both awesome. The fresh salad that goes with it makes your...MoreThank you! What could we have done to make it a 5-star meal?

First of all...very pleasant, friendly waitress attending to us! She had some extra time to chat, as the restaurant wasn't busy when we first arrived (a Tues. night), and then a few more tables became filled. The interior here is basic and simple. My husband had the BLT, potatoes and cole slaw. I had the lobster on a bun, mashed potatoes, cooked carrots and a small coleslaw. I wish I had of gotten the potato salad too, as my potatoes were very plain. Later the waitress asked the people behind me if they wanted gravy, and I wish I had of been asked, and never thought of it. Not a big deal! The meals start with a roll. The menu is not extensive; we thought there would be more choices.
The restaurant is licensed which is nice. Not too many choices for beer and wine, but better than nothing. I gave this an average rating re. the basic look, not alot of choices and paper plates and cups used for our food and water. We have dined at many places in North America, so know how to compare it with those other restaurants. I'm sure there will more to offer over time. We did enjoy our meals, and maybe we'll give it another try, when we come to visit again, to our 2nd home, on the east coast of the island.
