Stopped in for lunch and had some of the best salsa I have ever had! The fajita chicken taco is more like a burrito but was good also. The fresh guacamole is excellent also. Highly recommended!

It's not often I go looking for Mexican food inside a gas station, but the Chaco Grill is exactly that exception. Located in the small town of Cuba, New Mexico. I was here on my way back from visiting Chaco Cultural Historical Park. Hungry, I walked in and looked up. The menu is right there. Make your pick(s) and tell the cashier to your left. Then have a seat at one of the tables. Your food will arrive soon. Then enjoy.

This family-owned restaurant has been in the business 47 years, and it's easy to see why! I got a basic breakfast of eggs, bacon, hashbrowns and toast. Everything was perfect. My husband got a chorizo (Mexican-style sausage) omelet, biscuits and gravy. He was over there moaning about how good everything was. The biscuits looked tender, flaky and perfect. Service was excellent.

We were driving through Cuba on our way from Albuquerque to Durango when we arrived here just after the local breakfast crowd on Sunday morning. Apparently Presciliano's is very popular with the locals, as there were quite a few patrons when we stopped at 10:30 AM.
The restaurant is cute and very clean, and Jeanne, our server was very friendly. We started with the complimentary chips and dip, and we shared the beef fajitas. The fajitas were absolutely delicious!! We enjoyed a great brunch for a reasonable price!! We highly recommend Presciliano's!!

We came across this gem while driving south on highway 550, heading for I-40. We ordered BBQ pork (pulled pork sandwich), ribs, and chicken wings along with some outstanding sides (e.g., corn on cob, not overcooked!) and a fruit turnover for desert. Very, very good, and inexpensive!! We ate inside. The parking lot had ample room for our truck and 30 foot travel trailer.

Family owned and operated since 1957 serving authentic New Mexican food using only the best ingredient .
Friendly, fast service. Miserably small servings. My wife's bowl of red Chile ($5.99) was flavorful. My bowl of green with meat ($6.49) had so much ground beef in it that I could barely taste the Chile. And in both cases, the size of the serving would have been no more than a buck fifty side dish at pretty much any other restaurant in the state serving New Mexican food. I ate mine in about eight spoonfuls.
On the bright side, the restaurant is very close to McDonald's, which you'll need to visit to have any chance of a full tummy. There aren't many restaurants in Cuba, but do yourself a favor and try the others first if you're in town.

This MacDonald's is way below standards. Food scraps in the restaurant and behind the counter on the floor. Men's restroom had only one working toilet and filthy. My wife refused to use the women's as she was totally grossed out.
Do your self a favor and pass this restaurant up.
