Local owner who actually cares about the quality of the food and her guests' experience. Clean, attractive and friendly. This isn't fine dining but a genuine local cafe rather than a "safe plastic meal" at the usual chains. You have to drive about 3 minutes east of the junction of Hwy 97 at Chiloquin to reach this sweet spot but do it. Good spot for local chatter and great place to learn more about nearby Train Mtn RR (offering RR artifacts and guided tours) and the adjacent Klamath & Western RR (offering public rides)

dont expect great foot or fast service. It took 40 minutes to receive our 2 Mexican meals at the counter. The lady before me still hadn't received her order and was waiting 1 hour. Just pick up a soda and snack food from the display and , or go to the casino next door for a meal or up in Chiloquin 2 miles north.

We stopped by here again when we were in the area. We had the Coyote Club sandwich on sourdough and a Melita's burger with cheese, both with fries. Both sandwiches were really good and the fries were crispy and tasty. Service was quick and the waitress was very attentive to us. We will definitely be back if we are in the area again!

The title says it all! Friendly staff in a welcoming atmosphere. Fast and attentive service accompanied with top notch food makes this a place that I look forward to returning to as often as I can. Again... excellent!

I am not a Casino fan anyways, but this was one of the most uninspiring places I've ever frequented. Rows of unused slot machines. Deserted blackjack table. Air permeated with cigarette smoke. The few patrons there looked miserable.
The only redeeming feature was having a beer and talking to the friendly bartender.

I took my wife and kid here to eat and the prices were affordable and the food was tasty. Everyone seemed nice and the place was clean too. Free Wi-Fi and a big TV to watch while you're waiting for your grubs. Our bill was around $20 for 2 adults and 1 kid.

We ate breakfast at Melita's twice. Food was fine - tasty but nothing spectacular - and you could tell that its a very popular local place. However the service was excrutiatingly slow both days we were there. We think the term "I'll be right back" was a misnomer - every time the server said that it was a good 15 minutes before we saw them again. I would definitely not drive out of the way to go there again.
