We visited for breakfast while in town for the weekend. We chose the breakfast buffet because it seemed to have a lot of choices for a reasonable price. Everything was pretty average, not bad, just not great. They did have nice, crispy bacon, which was good, but they only offered canned peaches for fruit. If I had to eat here again for breakfast, I would, I just didn't think it lived up to some of the reviews I read.

When The Gathering closed in Live Oak I was upset. We visited the area quite frequently and always had at least one meal there each trip. Hope sprang eternal though when we found out they would soon be opening a restaurant in Branford. I'm not as frequently down near Branford, however, I have now eaten there twice and in the future, will take the long way just to have a meal here. The food and the service are awesome and the prices extremely reasonable! Last trip we had the fried shrimp--actually cleaned and breaded on-site and not from a bag--fried chicken fingers , fried mushrooms, and their mashed potatoes and gravy. Dessert was Peanut Butter Pie. All of it was great! I know they are now a little over a 20 mile drive down from Live Oak, however, it is definitely worth it.

We order regularly from China House (usually to go). We have never been disappointed with their food. Our staples are the sesame chicken, general tso chicken, vegetable chow mei fun, bourbon chicken, egg drop soup and the BEST egg rolls around! They don't cook their food ahead of time, instead once you order they make it fresh each time. I highly recommend this restaurant for anyone wanting delicious chinese fare.

Our kids and grandkids love Subway. The staff here were happy to accomodate our group of seven damp customers, lunching after our swimming at the springs. Always great food.

This is just a review of the pick-up, fresh pizzas. We haven't eaten a sit-down meal here. The service was friendly and it took about 15 minutes for our pizzas to be cooked and ready to take home. The pizza crust was great and the toppings were fresh. Quite a bit overpriced though considering what you're getting, but for a small town I guess this is the norm?

Great chicken biscuits. I have also eaten their chicken strips, hamburgers, french fries and chicken sandwiches. All are acceptable.
